I would not recommend Joe for a divorce. He was very distracted and failed to manage my divorce well

I wish there was an option to give below a star. If you want to hire a lawyer that literally is money hungry and incompetent..then hire Mr. O’Shea. He is a person that only cares about billing you and talking down to you in an abusive way. In my opinion I don’t believe he is competent to be anyone’s lawyer. He is super friendly and takes your case securing his retainer fee in which I paid $5000 in cash. He assures you he will bill your ex for counsel fees. It literally took him almost 4 1/2 years to complete my divorce.in which entailed absolutely no property or serious issues other than custody of my three little girls. Every court date the first thing he would bring up is attorney fees not caring about my request for custody or child support. There were two judges in the process of our divorce. Neither one of them had the littlest respect for Mr. O’Shea. All I was compensated was literally what my ex husband and his lawyer offered. I would sit there before every court date writing responses for hours that he literally would copy and present. Shortly after he found out my ex husband retired, he started billing me and my ex with astronomical numbers! $26000!!! After receding $9000 from me and $11000 from my ex husband! For what?! His incompetence, his abusive demeanor when speaking to his clients?! I have never met a lawyer that threatens his own clients telling them he knows how to get his money and yelling at them in the middle of court in front of other attorneys. What a shame. What basic divorce costs a total of $54000?! I will be filing a complaint with the state board because all he does now is harass me for payment in which I obviously do not have. After years in court I’m literally receiving the basic child support in which was a calculation ! Joseph Oshea does not care about his clients nor does he care about the children in a divorce , all he cares about is his pockets in which he said to me how do you think I take my family to Europe for the summer when I asked about the enormous bill. Stay away!!!!!

I have been working with Mr. O’shea and his team for the past few years and am very happy with the work him and his team have provided. He is very supportive and very knowledgeable about the laws. He is always available to answer questions or gets back within a responsible time. He is very honest and tells it like it is. I would highly recommend Mr. O’Shea and his team.

This attorney has 5 stars on most of his reviews because he tells clients he will reduce your bill by $500.00, if you write a good review of him on google to get more business. Guess what? After your 5 star review has posted, he charges You, the Client, triple. Stay far away!

Mr o'shea and his staff were great. They walked me through each step along the way . They got me everthing I wanted.I knew nothing about getting divorced. I highly recommend using them.

Going through a terrible time in your life, you need someone with the know how and experience to get you through everything. Mr Oshea and his team definitely did that. Even with the court delays because of COVID, they were right there with me every step of the way. All my questions were answered and there were no surprises. Highly recommended.
