We hired Casey in April 2025 for an adoption. From the beginning, there was a consistent lack of communication and clarity regarding our case and paperwork. Our initial consultation with Casey was canceled last minute and reassigned to a paralegal, yet we were still charged the full consultation fee. I had to call multiple times to ensure that fee was properly credited toward our retainer. Throughout our case, we experienced long periods without responses and were told that “it’s very rare to get a same-day response of any substance.” We have worked with multiple attorneys over the years and have never had difficulty receiving at least same-day acknowledgment from a legal team member. During our consultation, the paralegal set expectations that Casey later described as “unrealistic.” There appeared to be ongoing miscommunication between the paralegal and Casey, which left us repeatedly filling information gaps and restating details before we could move forward. We also learned midway through the process that the Casey Tuggle Law Office does not operate from a physical office location open to clients. Calls are not transferred, and messages are simply taken, leaving you to wait and hope for a return call or email. The only time progress was made was when we were able to get someone on the phone—if the call wasn’t canceled. Had we not called and emailed multiple times each week, I believe our case would have been significantly delayed. To be fair, the adoption was finalized in about three months, which is relatively fast. However, I strongly believe the timeline was expedited because of our own persistence and constant follow-up. The stress caused by poor communication and lack of responsiveness placed a significant strain on our daily lives. The most concerning issue occurred after finalization. Our personal information and official court documents were mailed to Vital Statistics without tracking. After three months of being told they had not received the paperwork, on December 3, 2025, we were informed the documents were likely “lost” in the mail and that we were responsible for obtaining new certified copies and mailing them ourselves. The refiling fees alone totaled $1,000. We had only been provided one official copy, leaving us without backups. When I expressed concern, Casey offered to obtain additional documents and mail them “soon.” However, by February, we had still received no response from anyone in the office. As a result, we had to hire another attorney to obtain the necessary documents. To add, I was not the client, my husband was. Yet anytime my husband called or emailed they completely ignored him and only responded to my emails and calls and only sent updates to myself and not my husband who was the client. We have since hired Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor and have experienced consistent updates, inclusion in the process, and weekly communication.

The Law Office of Casey Tuggle has been wonderful to work with. Casey and her team are always responsive! Any time I've reached out with a question I would receive a response in a timely manner. The answers I received were well thought out and definitely had my best interest in mind.

I want to start by saying that I am a very normal person who went through a deeply traumatizing divorce. If you do not read anything else in this review, please read the one-star reviews for Casey Tuggle. They are accurate. When I initially called Casey Tuggle, I was told the consultation would cost $250 and that this fee would be applied toward the full service cost of $4,500. This was for an uncontested divorce, meaning my ex-husband and I were in agreement on all matters, which should have required less work. During the phone call, Casey sounded understanding and sympathetic and indicated the process would move fairly quickly due to the lack of conflict. After the call, I received an invoice for the remaining balance of $4,250. The next day, I received an email stating that an additional $250 was owed, despite being told the consultation fee would be included. That should have been my warning sign. That initial call was the only time I ever spoke directly with Casey over the course of approximately four and a half months. After payment was made, I was left to complete all paperwork on my own. When I reached out for guidance via email, I was repeatedly told Casey was busy. I was shuffled between different paralegals and never had consistent communication or direction. I completed and submitted all requested paperwork within a week. After that, I waited while the office delayed filing it with the court. I emailed weekly asking for updates and was repeatedly told there were none. Only after my father called the office did my paperwork get filed the very next day. That does not feel coincidental. Once the paperwork was submitted, I was told to wait 31 days for finalization. After those 31 days passed, I again reached out and was told there were still no updates. I was then informed that the judge wanted an in-person court appearance, something that had never been mentioned previously. I was told a court date would not be scheduled soon due to the holidays. This conversation occurred on December 6, giving almost 3 weeks until Christmas. January came and went with no communication. Despite weekly check-ins (me emailing the office), I received no updates. During the second week of January, I contacted the courthouse myself and learned a court date had already been set. When I emailed Casey to confirm this, she responded by telling me I had no business seeking information without her. She accused me of being disrespectful to her staff and threatened to drop my case. At no point did I disrespect anyone. I have emails to prove this. From the moment payment was made, communication was essentially nonexistent. Requests to speak directly with Casey were denied due to her being busy or on vacation, while her TikTok account was consistently active with daily posts. After being threatened with having my case dropped, I no longer felt comfortable asking questions. On the day of my court appearance, I arrived with no guidance on where to go, what to expect, or who would be representing me. Casey did not attend. Instead, she sent a colleague without informing me in advance. While that attorney was kind and helpful, it was not who I hired or paid for. Casey Tuggle does not communicate with her clients. I paid $4,500 and spent months speaking only to rotating paralegals, experiencing unanswered phone calls and ignored emails. During one of the darkest periods of my life, I felt abandoned, dismissed, and made to feel like a burden for asking basic questions. This experience added unnecessary stress and emotional harm during an already painful time. I strongly caution anyone considering hiring Casey Tuggle to read the one-star reviews carefully before moving forward. EDITED TO ADD: photo below showing she sent me an invoice.

I’m the Dad Casey is referring to in Ambers post. Anyone remotely thinking about using this firm please take time to read ALL the reviews, including the ones that are positive (mostly her staff and friends). No need to be long here. I’m sure Casey and her staff are nice people but that only comes to an end once they get your payment. Multiple calls and emails were sent without and answers (common theme in these reviews, we all can’t be wrong huh?) I was forced to intervene for my daughter after months of stalling from her firm only to get blasted by her young interns (pay them and you’ll see) who actually take over the case once Casey gets your money. Again, if you want better than what you see on here do yourself a favor and find another attorney to represent or you will only become frustrated as many on here are. I know you’re thinking she has a 4.1 rating, not bad huh? For an attorney that’s horrible. Casey, please take these reviews as constructive criticism and make changes, your future clients deserve better.

Ten out of ten I would never recommend using this office. They do not help you. They choose to”get it over with” rather than gather facts. Never get a response. Would NEVER recommend.

I am beyond grateful for Attorney Casey Tuggle and her support over this past year. What started as an overwhelming, stressful, and emotionally draining battle with a manipulative ex-husband turned into a journey where I finally felt protected, heard, and guided — all because of her. This process was long and drawn out, and there were days where I felt defeated, anxious, or unsure of what would happen next. But Casey never let me give up. She reassured me every step of the way, explained everything clearly, and constantly motivated me to keep fighting for myself and my children. She handled my case with strength, compassion, and professionalism — and she always made me feel like I wasn’t going through this alone. I truly don’t know how I would have made it through this year without her. If you are dealing with a difficult co-parenting situation or need someone who will stand firmly beside you in a tough family law battle, Casey Tuggle is the attorney you want. She gave me peace, clarity, and confidence during one of the hardest times of my life. I highly recommend her.
