Having Michael white as an attorney was the best thing that could have happen to me in my situation I was incarcerated for unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon I was incarcerated for a firearm that I was never arrested for just word of mouth and no physical evidence of a firearm after sitting for 18 months and firing multiple lawyers I was giving Michael white as a pro bono lawyer four months of having him as my attorney he got my case dropped And dismissed he's very alert attentive respectful patient and very passionate about his clients not one time did I have to chase him down or ask him to do what needed to be done he just came in and got the job done he reunited me and my family and were very happy and thankful that we had the opportunity to have him as my lawyer thanks for everything may god bless you and your family

This attorney was court-appointed to represent my boyfriend. While I understand the limitations that can come with court-appointed representation, I was disappointed with the lack of communication and professionalism. I was the victim in this case, and although direct communication may not have been possible, the attorney had access to my boyfriend’s sisters and still failed to keep us properly informed. There was also a court date and time change that was not communicated to me. During one appearance when I was unable to attend, the attorney spoke to his client in a manner that came across as disrespectful. Regardless of holding the title of attorney, clients should always be spoken to with respect. I hope this experience is addressed through proper professional oversight. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this court-appointed attorney. Response back : To clarify the record, I did not call the police; neighbors did, and they were intoxicated at the time. My concern is not disagreement, but the lack of communication and professionalism demonstrated throughout your representation. I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction and outrage regarding the representation provided by court-appointed attorney Michael [Last Name], who was assigned to defend my nephew in a serious murder case. From the beginning, Mr. Michael demonstrated a lack of commitment, professionalism, and care. He advised us that a bond hearing would be a “waste of time” because he assumed the family could not afford bail. This was not only presumptive but offensive. In fact, our family managed to raise $50,000 to hire a qualified attorney who is now fighting for my nephew’s rights—something Mr. Michael failed to do. Mr. Michael pressured my nephew to accept a 30-year plea deal without presenting us with any strategic defense or alternative options. He appeared more interested in quickly closing the case than in advocating for justice. His actions felt like an intentional attempt to railroad my nephew into a plea—despite not knowing the full facts or circumstances. To make matters worse, he blocked my nephew’s sister from checking on the status of the case, cutting off family communication and transparency. His behavior was not only unprofessional but deeply harmful. Based on his actions, I believe Mr. Michael is not acting in the best interest of his clients, particularly young Black men. It is my opinion that he is colluding with the prosecution and that his conduct reflects serious racial bias and ethical concerns. I am grateful we were able to retain a real attorney who cares. But I remain concerned for other families who may not be able to do the same. No family should have to fight both the legal system and their own court-appointed counsel. I respectfully ask that this complaint be investigated and that appropriate actions be taken.

Michael F White I thought you would've been elsewhere by now Sir !! I've more than a few questions I would like to pick your brain about the cases you were appointed to represent me on an fabricated DUI Judge Joe Carroll 2008 . The arresting officer access to dash video transit Temple the Bell County court Which was 8-10 minutes at most but had it in transit supposed over 45 minutes and blacked out the video of an sobriety testing which he had no probable cause for stopped me as soon as I left store parking 7-11 Adams & loop 363 1st thing he had said to me his approach to me was turn my lights off which was the ruse of an excuse as to why he stopped me remember as turned off the well lit parking lot of 7-11 I turned on my lights sir . his false take and reason the stop accordingly was I was supposedly driving with my lights off which isn't true at all Mr White then outside of the video which would've been more favorable to me than the officer fabricated story !! Chain of custody the evidence was not raining sir and they destroyed any sample ' physical evidence ' samples as to which they supposedly gotten blood alcohol outside legal limits and denied my right to have any and all evidence against me independently tested sir oh and that's not all problems the signigtures the indictment ' there are none ' then you refused to except me not wanting to plea during an recess called for whatever reason after an juror became disqualified and an verbal request made for mistrial as result sir oh yeah the plea sheet of which shouldn't have ever entered into this has both plea agreement arangment and not plea arangment but an open court plea checked marked sir after you pushed me into that continually the break and now you tell me you did your best sir ?? Well I won't be indorsing your performance very well Mr White as per my experience with your services sir because sir I was innocent and that's the very reason I wanted and waited altogether close to 3 years for my day in court Mr white which I believe with what I have already told you the errors you failed and was totally an ineffective assistance of counsel for me Mr White !?# Find someone with has integrity and are for citizens rights because no one protected anything of mine here . thank you ~C.W.~

I am in awe at how quickly things were resolved once Mr. White got on the case. What was a difficult was handled with professionalism and urgency.

I’d like to first and foremost give thanks to Mr. White for defending my father whom sat in jail for three years for something he did not do! This case went to trial. Mr. White did everything in his power to defend my father. And in the end, had the victory!! The jury found my father to be innocent on two different charges! Not one but two!
