Went out of his way to be with me at court when he had other obligations very professional and I would recommend him highly.

Tim Doty is by far the most unprofessional lawyer I have ever dealt with. We hired him to take our case, not only did he not file the paperwork on time the court did not have him as attorney of record. We spoke with him the day before our appearance in court and he told us what would happen and that he would meet us there. The day of court he would not answer his phone or respond to any texts. His phone then went straight to voicemail. Two days later he responded to say he had kidney stones. For us that was a little late since this was a custody hearing for our child. He was always hard to make contact with and his lack of response is ridiculous. He made our case a joke. His assistant is just as bad as he is. I would not EVER recommend TIM DOTY to do any kind of legal work. After days with no response, he did refund our retainer but that was after we stated that we will be filing a complaint with MI State Board Association.
