We hired Michelle to represent my fiancée, and unfortunately, our experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. The most serious and consistent issue was her very poor communication. Calls, emails, and messages were frequently ignored or answered only after long delays, if at all. We were often left completely in the dark about the status of the case, upcoming deadlines, and important developments that directly affected my fiancée’s future. As clients, we expected basic professionalism and timely communication, especially given the seriousness of the legal matter and the fees we paid. Instead, we were forced to repeatedly follow up just to receive minimal information. This lack of responsiveness caused unnecessary stress, anxiety, and confusion, and made it feel as though our case was not being treated with the importance it deserved. What makes this situation even more troubling is that our experience does not appear to be unique. After reviewing public feedback, we noticed numerous other reviews describing the same pattern of behavior—poor communication, failure to keep clients informed, missed hearings, and lack of accountability. Unfortunately, our experience closely mirrored what others have reported, which suggests an ongoing issue rather than an isolated incident. Because of the repeated communication failures and the overall handling of the case, we have decided to report this matter to the California State Bar and pursue accountability. Legal representation requires trust, diligence, and clear communication, and we did not receive that here. I strongly encourage anyone considering this attorney to carefully read the existing reviews, ask detailed questions upfront, and proceed with caution. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Michelle to anyone seeking reliable and professional legal representation.

Don’t hire this attorney!! She was representing my mom and told us she will handle the case that everything was going to be alright. She didn’t show up to hearings and lied about paying a fee that the judge ordered because of her not showing up.. absolutely would not recommend Michelle.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Michelle came highly recommended by a family friend, so we trusted her with my brother's serious criminal case — a case where he was facing a potential life sentence. Unfortunately, hiring her was one of the biggest mistakes we could have made. We were warned that her time management wasn’t great, but that turned out to be just the beginning. Michelle was consistently late to court hearings and nearly impossible to communicate with. We would go days — sometimes even weeks — without any response, no matter how urgent the situation was. Even worse, she lied about filing critical documents and misled us on multiple occasions. Her lack of honesty, professionalism, and basic follow-through jeopardized my brother’s case and added unnecessary stress to an already devastating situation. If you are looking for someone to truly advocate for you or your loved one, DO NOT HIRE MICHELLE. She does not have your best interests at heart and should not be trusted with serious legal matters.

I was worried at first, but in the end I made the great choice choosing Trigger law office. My cousin was in some trouble and the previous lawyer (Jimenez Climente ) did a terrible job of representing him. He also didn’t tell my cousin he was supposed to be placed on an ankle monitor with his plea agreement which led to him being taken to jail. Then he refused to represent him further taking payment. I was advised to talk with Trigger law office and that was the best decision I made she cleaned up the mess at a very reasonable rate. Can’t recommend her enough however the communication could be a bit rough at times but she is definitely worth every penny!!

Michelle has been my attorney for 7+ years. I am so grateful to have her on my team. I love the way she advocates for me. I’ve seen lots of attorneys, due to frequent court appearances, over the years but I’ve never seen an attorney who is naturally smart or as sharp as Michelle.
