I have known Joel Walters for over eight years now and each encounter makes me happy, knowing that I have received professional business advice. Joel has always been responsive to my calls and often will follow-up with me after hours. Joel Walters is definitely the lawyer you want on your side in a business or construction dispute.

Joel Walters is one of the rudest people I have dealt with in a long time! I was referred to him from the Florida Bar referral site, had several questions, and he actually raised his voice to me saying that he had already answered my question when I asked for clarification on it. Then he hung up on me!

Charged me 2500 never filed one thing in the courts the attorney on my case never filed anything before he quit and now Joel the owner of the firm said he used all money for fees and filing and hours charged... all lies do not hire this firm or watch out for made up frivolous hours and charges

We hired Joel Walter's as our Bankruptcy Attorney. Paid a $2500 retaining fee and months go by without a word (mind u I had to come up with bank statements) I was calling his office one day to see when we will be filing, and the secretary says that our Attorney we were assigned no longer works for this firm. So I said "OK, no problem. Do u have anyone that can work on my bankruptcy or get my money back?" They "looked into" getting our money back and made it look like they would give it back. Just received an email from their office stating "The retention fee was already used and now I owe $600" lol. He never filed a single paper, all he did was send me a packet on how to start the bankruptcy process. Im guessing thats what the $2500 is for. Lol that was all the money I had. Now I'm robbed $2500 basically because they fired THEIR attorney. Looks like I will be looking for another lawyer and warning whoever I can about these crooks.
