Whitfield Hyman, Attorney At Law

I tried to hire Mr.Hyman for assistance on a excessive force by police case. He drug his feet for the longest time finally telling me his friend was the attorney for the city of Barling where I was pulled over. No help at all.

Mr Hyman knows the law but more than that he cares about the citizens and his clients. He should be your 1st call.

Did next to nothing to defend me. Basically acted as co-council for the prosecutor. Had almost zero interest in my constitutional rights or defending them. He couldn't "find a case exactly like mine" so threw in the towel. First thing he told the judge at trial was, "yeah judge, I couldn't find any cases like this one." There were blatant inconsistencies in the witness's stories, and Whitfield sat silent. Then had the nerve at the end of it all to offer to appeal, but would cost 3x as much because "it would be harder". Well the 1st time around was apparently too hard for him, why would I trust him on something "harder". If you have a slam dunk case, I'm sure Whitfield can handle it. If it requires actual defense, I'd look elsewhere. I bet he does a good job defending himself against this review, but the truth is the truth. If your 4th amendment rights are violated, this attourney has zero usefulness.

I reached out to Mr. Hyman for help with a traffic ticket for my college student daughter. He reviewed the ticket and advised me, free of charge, that it could be paid without affecting her record—so his services weren’t necessary. Mr. Hyman’s honesty, professionalism, and ethical approach were truly refreshing. Highly recommend!

If you should happen to find yourself on a side of the law you don’t want to be, I highly recommend reaching out to Mr. Hyman. It’s always interesting when someone’s intellect actually matches with their name. It’s great when an attorney has a network of resources they are willing to utilize for their clients (even when it’s superb wit to help you understand all of your legal options 😉). He provided me with information that he was not paid to give and showed interest in my case although he could not represent me. I would recommend him to anyone.
