Woods Trial Law

Disappointing! I called Woods Trial Law for a possible case against a company that they are already involved with suing. Figured that would be a good firm to start with. Called and explained a little about the case and no one ever called back. 2 Days later called a second time and no one ever returned my call. Called a third time, left a voice main with a Nicole no one ever called back. Called a fourth time left a message and no one returned the call. Four calls with a case against a company they have already sued and no return communication.

Did not keep us up to date with progress being made unless I called and asked questions. They originally told my wife and I may have to wait six months or a year to receive any money. It took over two years and change. I personally would not use this firm again.

I used Kevin back in 2004 for an accident case out of Sarasota County. The trial in case took quite a while but that’s expected. Kevin was absolutely amazing and did an in-depth thorough job. He kept me updated all along the way and it all paid off in the end, literally, I highly recommend Kevin Woods for any type of Cases that he practices. I really don’t think you could find a better attorney anywhere around in Southwest Florida, including Morgan and Morgan. If you’ve been involved in any kind of an accident whatsoever, make sure you hire this man because you won’t find any better.

Horrible experience overall. They have done a very poor job with communication on handling a claim we initially started over two years ago with them. For a year we heard from no one on the case it wasn't until I started reaching out consistently that things then started to move. I would love to say our case was handled with care but it was not. While David is very knowledgeable and readily available to discuss our matter his timelines have never been met since day one. Our settlement is significantly lower than initially promised. Upon coming to agreement during mediation back in December we have yet to settle. Any communication has come from me inquiring about the status of things. We were told this would be settled by end of January early Feb and it is not. It's now mid April and no check cut and no one has a clue on when this will even happen due to lack of response from third parties involved. This whole process was not worth the Pennie's we are being offered nor did they do what they promised. Will never recommend anyone to this Firm ever unless you want poor communication and failed deadlines on multiple occasions and bait and switch tactics.

We had the pleasure to work with the team and May i say THEY ARE GREAT and really care about their clients and they fight tooth and nail to get the justice you deserve. Kevin was very thorough. He did a GREAT job of managing our expectations so we were extremely and pleasantly “surprised” with the outcome! He was incredibly professional and at mediation, he conveyed every aspect of the case with knowledge and confidence.
