The previous reviews is wayyy different from my experience, let me elaborate. I consulted with Mr.Zapata in early May 2024 in regard to representation for a toxic mold case. I provided the evidence and things he requested and a contract was signed upon meeting. Fast forward, months would past by and I would get no info whatsoever on what’s happening with the case. I would text and ask tri monthly as I didn’t want to come off pushy for info. I would never get complete info or any for that matter. Nearly a year of nothing. December he texts and says “are you and your kids still ill, I’m preparing to send a settlement demand letter”. Perfect! Best news ever, right? Well, weeks later, via text he drops my case stating he’s been ill and has to release my case back to me including others and that a release letter would be sent, my case files in case I want to hire someone else. I get the release letter and the verbiage was nothing of that stating “I’m ill therefore releasing you” no…the letter seemed as if I was being fired as a client so I went a step further. I had a coworker pretend to need representation for a car accident. Upon calling she learned Mr.Zapata is a awesome attorney and would love to possibly take her case. They happily got all her info to pass along to him. Screenshots provided of his text and screenshot from my coworker explaining how her call went. Now, I was warned mold cases are hard cases to prove/win so if this wasn’t for you Mr.Zapata as a businessman and as someone with integrity this should have been handled alot different. The entire experience. You avoided me for nearly a yr even while working on the case.Only to release me with no explanation. This has already been a traumatic experience and to think an attorney would add to it. If you’re honestly not sick, I pray you reap the lie you laid before my children and I. I will be inquiring with Texas state board about this experience, sharing all texts, me gracefully touching basis with no response daily, and my file with the progression. I can’t help but feel I was done unethically. Oh and, it sucks having to beg to have the original contract sent because you failed to send them after the meeting as you stated and your assistance has lied twice saying I’m getting them. Something more is to this but, God has it now and for you because of that, I pray you’ve moved with grace with me. He’s going to handle it alot better than I. In your words, best of wishes
