All this is is a cash grab. You can find the same help on your own via Google. Waste of $30 and it isn't even clear who you're actually paying or what you're supposed to get. AVOID. I highly recommend using ChatGPT to find your own avenue of divorce. I will likely be filing on my own without legal aid.
These scumbags set me up for $1.90 and asked me if I wanted to continue the service back in 2024, at which time I told them "no" I only need a "one-time charge". They didnt even get me connected to anyone who could help me. Their "service" did NOT help me get in touch with ANY legal services, and I was done at that point. I wasn't upset because I only needed a one-time use of their "service". Fast forward to 14 Feb 2025, and I see a pending charge for $19.90 on my account. Sneaky, but not that sneaky.
I call to get in touch with them to find out what is going on, and in typical scammer style, the dude interrupted me and cut me off when I was trying to talk, and then he had the audacity to tell me I disrespected him. These "people" are scammers. Do NOT use their "service" unless you like being ripped off and scammed. I would give them ZERO stars if I could.
2 stars only because the people on the phone speak professionally. The representative, Amos, told me to wait for a phone call from the attorneys. After not receiving one Within the trial, I called to cancel my service and request a refund for the 19.90 that was charged on the eighth day. I was told the attorneys do not call, And I was supposed to go onto their website and fill out a form, And I would not receive a refund. Amos, you owe me $20.
Save yourself the frustration. This company sent me nothing at all, and was rude after I canceled the service. Just use Google. You’ll save yourself the trouble of dealing with these scam artists.
UPDATE: I added 1 star to this review because after I called in and made a fuss, the next day I had unexpectedly been refunded the 1.90$ trial fee, and I have not been charged anything beyond that.
Original review:
I paid 1.90$ for a 7 day trial of their service which normally costs 20$ a month. I would have cancelled the "service" after a day, but since it was the weekend, I cancelled it after 3 days.
While looking for legal answers I somehow got transferred to these jokers who said they could help and signed me up. The reality of the matter ended up being that these people will send you an email with a bunch of publicly free material and the names of other companies that also want to sell you stuff. Other than that, if you express that you have questions, then they will send you contact information for a few law offices that you can contact, but who cannot help you, because 411 Legal could not even manage to send me one relevant contact that could even begin to help me. The most help I got from someone that I contacted as directed by 411 legal was a paralegal telling me to call the Bar Association, which I did, and they recommended someone to help.
Keep in mind that these law offices that 411 Legal points you to have no affiliation with 411 Legal. When you sign up with 411 Legal you are not gaining or receiving any special access, discounts, or services.
411 Legal does not provide any service, nor does it provide any access to anything that is not free. Whether it is technically legal or not, 411 Legal is a scam.
411 Legal could very well have been put together by a homeless person who spent the day googling legal resources to give out to new subscribers, then charges people 20$ a month to do a few useless irrelevant google searches for them.
This is a scam company they released our card information to id secure against our authorization! I've contacted them multiple times to cancel and remove our account information and they refuse to do so by saying they don't have the ability to do so! This is ridiculous!
This service is a SCAM! I work at a law office in upstate New York and people are continuously being referred to us by this service with different types of cases that we do not even handle. People are giving their money to this service for information they can get for FREE. Please DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!! AGAIN, IT IS A SCAM!!! Stay safe out there.
