Dan was absolutely what I prayed for as an attorney in my divorce and custody case. From the moment I first met with him, he said 3 words to me that I would come to trust - “I’ve got you.” His knowledge of the law, ethical standards and ability to help me stay focused and calm for court proceedings is what I appreciated most about him. Dan kept to his promise of those simple 3 words from start to finish and I learned to trust in him which meant the most to me. He is honest, never telling a client something that isn’t realistic. I highly recommend him as an attorney. His assistant Lea is fantastic as well! She is kind and patient, explains things and organized when I needed help with all the things to keep track of. There is no need to look elsewhere - Adelman Law is truly the best you’re going to get!
I found Dan at my life’s rock bottom desperately breaking from a radically toxic marriage & extended family.
Despite having been the vast majority provider for the family for 20 years, Dan saved me from a life of paying alimony, which my ex fought hard for, among many other things.
Dan was thorough and incredibly well prepared for trial. He exudes confidence which I appreciated at such a vulnerable time.
He equally exudes tough love, which I hated and needed being so fragile yet volatile.
Dan’s team is equally fantastic. While not in her JD, Leah talked me off the ledge many times. She is thorough, timely and a genuinely wonderful human being. Dan is lucky to have her. I aim to poach her.
My advice, get a great therapist, hire Dan and record everything!
The only person that regrets my choice to hire Dan is my ex.
I suspect all the 1* reviews are from exes.
Very conflict oriented family lawyer. Does not have attention to detail or care about preservation of the co-parenting relationship. Has zero integrity and knowledge of family law. Doesn't attempt to fully understand the scenario. Will make threats and be very aggressive and lie to his clients about what their outcomes could be. Not at all resolution-minded. So if having a good coparenting relationship or a child centered outcome is your goal, go elsewhere.

Attorney Adelman has been an invaluable asset to me throughout my divorce & its subsequent proceedings. I can’t imagine having done any of this alone. Any problems that arise can be sent over & will be handled accordingly. Knowing this has significantly reduced my stress levels throughout the years. Dan & his staff are knowledgeable & beyond efficient. My marriage is considered to be one of my biggest mistakes, but hiring Dan is definitely one of the best decisions I’ve made. If you are reading this & feeling lost/confused about the divorce process, you should absolutely give him a call!
Dan is the best his staff is awesome. He’s been helping me with my high conflict divorce and custody battle. He Truly fights for you and what’s right. If you want things done go with Dan, you will not be disappointed I truly appreciate him and what he’s done.
Thank you Adelman Law
I hired Daniel to handle post judgment - family case in an emergency situation. He made a mess of my case due to his false statement, poor writing, carelessness and negligence. He added more pain and suffering in my life. This lawyer has zero integrity, only cares about himself & numbers. He is never prepared. He never returns phone calls.
What a disaster to hire him. I'm glad that I fired him. Don't waste your resources ! Please learn from my mistakes. This lawyer should have his license revoked.
Extremely helpful and accessible team. That goes a long way when dealing with experience that could be life changing.
I have already recommended Adelman Law to a few friends and family members.
