Would not recommend for NFA trusts if you’re new to the process. Communication was delayed, and they didn’t take the time to explain important details or the potential ramifications of the trust name. Overall, not a supportive experience for a first-time client.

This was an intimidating process for me that I had put off for several years. Happy I found Jim. He has a polished process, put terms on my level of understanding, and was patient throughout, even with my scattered brain. Extremely happy with the outcome and confident about the choices made. This is invaluable long term for me towards reducing stress and mental energy. I would recommend Jim to anyone looking for these services.

If I could give a zero I would. This man was completely irresponsible and cold. He never once reached out to me concerning my Mothers estate. He trusted a woman I hired who knew my Mom 1 MONTH! That woman has since proven to be completely overreaching in every aspect of my Mom's life. Thankfully she is gone! But Mr. Alder, decided to do absolutely no due diligence about his new client my Mother. Instead he trusted a women who new my Mom one month and decided that her son that had been taking care of her and her finances for 30 years was the bad guy. He puts my Mom in a Irreversible Trust. Mind you, my Mom was showing sign at the time of Dementia, and currently is in a memory care facility, but that didn't stop him. He then used the worst reputable so called so called Fiduciary possible. Stagg Fiduciaries. Have you ever heard of a Fiduciary that keeps over 20% of a person liquids assets and then calls it a Retainer Fee. For What? It was over 40%, and I'm still fighting for the rest of it. I've never met a colder human. Mr. Alder would not even take a phone call from my Mom or myself. Instead he put his wife on the phone. If Mr. Alder had done his due diligence and he would have know that my mother previously had signed a over a Power of Attorney to another so called friend that she knew 3 months, who had her check the boxes saying that she could change the beneficiaries. And made herself and her Minister over the estate. BUT HE DIDN"T! He screwed up and it took thousands to make it all right again. Shameful! Response to Mr. Alder You said that I was trying to change the will to benefit me. Yes! A few years ago, my mother was coerced into changing the Trust by this women she knew for 3 months! She was the friend of friend from her new church. These are the same friends that convinced my Mom that I was somehow stealing from her. I was even reported to Adult Services. I happily gave them all the information they ask for and offered bank statements. They quickly saw I was not the person these friends reported. Or that Mr. Alder assumed. But again, you knew nothing of the history leading up to it. Other then the hearsay of those who took control of her life. When I found out that my Mom gave here friends and her Minister the Power of Attorney and the power to CHANGE THE BENEFICIARIES TO THE ESTATE. What would anyone have done! We asked a new lawyer to reinstate the EXACT SAME TRUST that was set up over 20 years ago, when my Mother was completely capable of making decisions. We were to sign that when I got back from overseas in 12 days, but the lady I hired again influence my Mom to find another lawyer. Thus YOU! For 50 years my Mom financially supported my Brother, which I completely supported. Paid all his expenses, cars, condo, bills, etc. She spent an estimated 400,000 to 500,000 for his care. She made the decision 20 years ago of an 80/20 split at her death because of those expenses. So, if anything, I would have gotten less. But you wouldn't know anything about that because once again you didn't ask! Personally, yes I don't believe my Mom was making good decisions. Is it really funny that I complained about my Mom showing signs of Dementia! What measures are you talking about, that you say you took to ensure she was capable to sign anything! I learned from my lawyer that as he put it, the bar is very low. We both know, you asked her a couple of questions that she was able to say YES too! This is the person that a six months earlier gave here friends and their Minister the power to CHANGE THE BENEFICIARIES TO THE ESTATE. So yes I didn't think she was capable from the very beginning of the past few years. But the legal system did! He says my Mom choose Stagg Fiduciaries. Who else did you offer? Professional? I'm still fighting with them. Up until about a week ago they kept over 40% of my Moms remaining cash. They kept thousands as "A Retainer". FOR WHAT! They did nothing the past six months. Am I upset? Ya! Would you be? You didn't want to know both sides!
