Navigating the legal issues that arise when loved ones get older can be very challenging and complex. Halley at Allaire Elder Law was so helpful to me. She explained everything in ways I could understand and helped to clarify next steps. Before meeting with her I felt overwhelmed and lost; after meeting with her I feel confident in the next steps I need to take. She was kind, patient, very quick, and friendly. Highly recommend!
My husband and I went to Allaire Elder Law intending on having a trust drawn up. We have both had some health issues lately and also wanted a Power of Attorney put into place. Then we also realized our Health Care Appointment was badly out of date! Halley was wonderful in explaining all of it…of course, the trust language was hard for both me and my husband to clearly understand. We went home and thought it over, and completely changed our minds! We really only needed a straight-forward will. Halley was so good about the changes and additions through the entire process. The entire office is so helpful and friendly, I cannot praise them enough. We came away with just what we needed and wanted. We would highly recommend Allaire Elder Law.

My 94 year old aunt was in need of some legal advice after her husband passed away. She was confused about the paperwork she had signed and how her assets would be divided upon her death. Attorney Halley Allaire explained all aspects of her current paperwork and helped to set my aunt's mind at ease about her current financial situation.

My father was dealing with some pretty serious health issues earlier this year and we needed to get him on Medicaid. The process to apply is so confusing, and it was such a chaotic time, I was desperate for help. A social worker recommended Allaire and I'm so grateful! From the initial call with Halley all the way until we received Medicaid approval (on the first try, without having to submit additional paperwork woohoo!) the team was so organized, responsive and helpful. Especially Amanda, the paralegal assigned to our case. She was always so patient (even when answering my never ending list of questions), pleasant, approachable, knowledgeable...the list goes on and on. She made a very confusing process much less overwhelming. There was still a significant amount of work I had to do on my end because legally they couldn't do it for us, but they made the steps very clear. Working with them was worth every penny and I'll never stop recommending them!

My mother recently passed and Halley was unbelievably helpful guiding us through what needed to be done after her passing. And prior, when we handling my parent’s financial affairs, she was extremely informative and patient with our many questions.

If you want peace of mind and sound easy to understand legal advice, enlist Allaire Law for your needs! My family used them for both Mom & Dad (in their 90s) for short term skilled nursing needs, and Medicaid Title 19 application. They handled all the necessary details easily and efficiently. I was the family point of contact, and worked with a dedicated attorney and paralegal from the firm throughout the process. At all times they were easily accessible (e-mail, phone calls, in person), provided practical advice, and got the job done within the projected timeframe. Having "early" approval is of paramount concern since the family is obligated to pay the skilled nursing home fees prior to approval. Our family feels that Allaire Law's fee was LOWER than the savings the family enjoyed by having a sound Title 19 application submitted and approved in a reasonable timeframe. They even negotiated a reduced financial hardship rate for the timeframe prior to Medicaid approval, which softened the blow of that family financial burden. Our family used Allaire Law about 20 years ago for my grandparents that were in a similar situation. We're very glad we signed up with them again for Mom & Dad!

As a real estate broker, I deal with numerous attorneys statewide. I recently worked with Allaire Elder Law on the management and ultimate sale of a single family home belonging to one of their clients. Throughout the entire process I found Halley Allaire to be 100% vested in the process and always mindful of her client's bottom-line. Halley wanted to be sure the home was properly cared for, all vendors were in place and that the house sold for top dollar with minimal risk. She was analytical and no-nonsense which made my job so much easier! The needs of their clients come first, and that is a law firm I look forward to working with again!
