I was directed to Mr Poucher from the Veterans Administration website. At our meeting I provided him with all of my VA medical records as well as private treatment records to support my claim. I thoroughly explained my circumstances and Mr Poucher agreed to take the case. He stated that he would draw up a contract and I would be hearing from him in a week or two. During those two weeks I submitted VA information he had requested as well as a Washington Post article which supported the very issue I was filing for showing systematic VA failures in this particular area. I never heard from Mr Poucher or his office again. I called numerous times to get an update as to the status of the contract. The secretary told me that Mr Poucher would be calling me back. Nothing. Ever. Two months passed and I called one final time assured that Mr Poucher would be calling me. He never did. Finally I had the Florida Bar contact Mr Poucher on my behalf. Even then he NEVER returned my calls. Today I went to his office and retrieved my records. I shouldn't have allowed him this long, as now I must find new counsel and he has completely wasted two months of my time. Very unprofessional attorney. I will be contacting the VA and doing everything in my power to have his name removed as a recommended attorney for the Veterans Administration. If you're a veteran considering Mr Poucher for representation by all means don't. Without a doubt the absolute worst legal experience I have ever had. Edit: I found an attorney to take my case. I won and received back pay of $48,000. And I now receive compensation every month in the amount of $3,850

When my 89 year old aunt passed away just weeks before closing on her out-of-state co-op, my family didn’t know what to do but Attorney Allen Poucher DID! Allen immediately knew exactly what was needed and got all paperwork & court documents completed perfectly & unbelievably quickly (which we didn't think was possible with our urgent closing timeline). The NY realtor was shocked of what Allen was able to accomplish in such a timely manner - He had never had such a positive experience with an attorney. Allen proceeded to help me close out my aunt’s estate, which was complicated, but he (and he excellent paralegal, Liz) made it seem easy. Liz is so helpful, friendly and knows her stuff!! I loved talking with her because ahe gave me calm assurance during a stressful time I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but I want others to benefit from my experience, and I feel 100% certain that working with Allen Poucher law firm will be the best decision you could make if you need legal assistance.

Allen and his staff helped us with the acquisition of a family property following the death of a parent and we were impressed with how smoothly and professionally the transaction went. Allen and Sarah guided us throughout the legal process and answered all of our questions in a easy to understand manner. We were so happy with them that we returned to them to form an LLC to manage our assets in anticipation of our own retirement. Their availability to provide guidance on legal options is very much appreciated and they never fail to return our calls within a timely manner. They exceeded our expectations and we will continue to use them in the future.
