After reviewing the matter, and speaking with all the relevant members of our office, it is clear that you did not schedule any appointments with anyone in our office, but simply requested a return call from our family law attorney. You were informed that he was out of the office at a mediation on the day you called, and would call you when he returned to the office later the next day. You indicated that you were fine with this, and would await his call. You then called again early the next morning when the attorney was still out on the matter from the prior day. You were again informed that he would contact you later that day when he finished the matter he was working on outside of the office, and that he would give your matter as much attention as he does his other matters. You were informed that if you felt that time sensitivity made it so you couldn't wait for his return call later that day, that you should contact another attorney. You indicated that you felt you needed to do that, and therefore, would not need our attorney's return call. Sometimes cases that we are working on, in court, or in mediations, don't allow us the opportunity to immediately call people back while we are engaged in those other matters. As with you, our office staff informs the caller of this immediately, so that they know what to expect, and can decide for themselves how they would like to proceed. I sincerely hope that you were able to find someone to help you with your legal matter. It is rare that it takes 24 hours to return a person's call, but in those situations, we make sure you understand the circumstances so that you can proceed as you need.
