It's been 5 months since our case has been closed with no word or returned phone calls/emails regarding the money owed to my fiance. Don't know any other way to get a response at this point.

Cory and Karmen are hands down the best that I have had to use for legal matters. Cory assesses your particular situation and formulates a plan for success. He and Karmen both do not treat you like a client they treat you like a friend. Professional, courteous and deliver results. The best attorney in Abilene without question! I am and will be grateful for everything he has done for me.

Pathetic representation! I hired Corey Clemence to defend me in a criminal case and he wasted 5 months of my time waiting on video evidence that I told him over and over again they were not going to turn over. We eventually decided it was best he remove himself from the case and I ended up representing myself because he was so ineffective! If you want good representation this is not the place to find it. Matter of fact it seems to me he did the absolute minimum as possible and was content sitting on his hands delaying my case over and over some of which was for his own personal vacation while I sat without a car as it was seized racking up impound fees. I'm in total regret of hiring this firm I expected better representation but instead I got a weak attorney!

Went in to see if the law firm would be able to help me and was treated very poorly by the lady working in there. Needless to say I was able to find another law firm to help me and paid them $5200 up front.

Working with Meredith to help settle a client matter went smoothly and was very much appreciated. Thank you!

I'm so happy to hear of other people's experiences that went well. Unfortunately, that not how I feel my experience has been. I feel as though they took my money, and have been too busy with other cases. I literally only talked to Cory at the 1st meeting and it's been his other workers from there on. I can never get a call back or a response to an email as to updates. I usually have to make an actual appearance at the office to get any answers. I literally met with Cory on Nov 3 and asked about an estimated date for things to be final, he said possibly by the end of the year. Well, that date has passed. By 5 months into the next year. All I'm saying is I paid a lot of money, and I don't see or feel like I'm being treated the way they would want to be treated.

This guy was quick to take a retainer but his follow through was horrible. Will asked to be released from his responsibilities saying client was hard to communicate with but he knew I did not have access to email. This was in writing. How about phone calls or regular USPS??? Find someone else. JTS.

We are going through a parental termination/step-parent adoption case & when we talked to Cory during the consultation, he seemed like the best choice. I had a lot of anxiety through the termination portion, but he calmed my nerves assuring me we would be fine. He was always honest and upfront with me so I wouldn’t be caught off guard. During our hearing, he was amazing and very knowledgeable and he won our case! We haven’t gotten to do the adoption hearing yet, but I know when we do he will be great again!

I, literally, just got out of my hearing. Outside of the courtroom, Cory had a very good demeanor and kept me on track with things. Inside the courtroom, though, Cory is a beast. He was very well prepared and just listening to Cory and watching him work was awesome. Kentara was always there for the last year or so answering my questions or getting answers to my questions. Thanks to both of you regardless of the outcome.
