Raquel Gross is very bad with communication.

2 years ago I was at the time dealing with a high risk pregnancy when I slipped and fall at the hospital I worked at do to them not having wet floor signs down on the weirdest day for it snow I was walking into work slipped and fall my job sent me to the er where they did a x-ray of my knee took me up to Labor and delivery to monitor my baby. I contacted this law firm to get the much needed help they sent me to therapy my knee was getting worse to the point I was walking with a walker to get around I couldn’t have a MRI until I had my baby. I got token off of work until I had my baby but when they took me off of work the job made a lie up to fire me. After having my baby and almost dying after having her I finally had my MRI done let’s just say to this day I am still in pain due to 2 disc in my back is fractured and I have a torn ACL in my knee so now I’m living in pain I stoped going to that 10 minute therapy session because it was not helping me at all and had to go back to a new job because me and my kids was about to get put out which I explained that to them luckily enough I was able to move my kids in a new house they was supposed to fought for my wages I had missed because workers comp didn’t pay me anything while I was off so I sent emails months later and even called explained the situation to one man I was suppose to got a call back and I didn’t get anything. Every time I would get told I had to fill a paper out so that they can pull my records from everywhere and I signed so many papers requesting my records for them I don’t know what they did with them. I hate that it’s still this long and I have not gotten no help at all.

Brien DiNella worked on my case. Highly professional and good at his job. His legal assistants were also very professional and helpful. This was my first case ever and glad he was there to explain everything clearly, ensuring I had my questions answered. The only thing I didn't like was I had a few different legal assistants on the case (and was never notified of that change, so I was emailing the old assistants on the case, little did I know they were not with the company). Other than that, I recommend this law firm to everyone I know

Maria Merman displayed exemplary knowledge and excellent customer service as she acted has my legal representation during such a difficult time. Although the process was lengthy she always made sure she kept informed and advised me in the best possible direction as it related to my legal matter. I was rear ended on the highway and I had to get a lot of treatment. There was damage found on my neck and lower back. I had to get treatment for about a year. The process was not fast, but Maria Merman was extremely helpful, along with Adrianna Carillo. Maria had greatly reduced my medical bills and she has been very informative with me throughout this whole process. It has been a pleasure to work with Ankin Law. I hope to never go through this again, but if I do, I know I'll go through them.

I wish there was an option to select zero stars. I trusted to use Ankin Law Firm after the big V-103 Radio Station advertisement, with Jean referring to Howard Ankin as her "Play-Cousin!" Smh, I should've known better. I was assigned to Attorney Jacob "Jake" Nabat to handle my case. I never spoke to him verbally over the telephone, but he sent me an email with an video attached, introducing himself with his contact information. His communication skills are very poor. He DOESN'T reply back to emails. He DOESN'T return telephone calls. He DOESN'T listen to voicemails. He DOESN'T keep in contact to inform if he's making progress with the case. He DOESN'T acknowledge anything at all! Oh, let me NOT leave out his Assistant named Monse. She's just as bad as he is with returning telephone calls, emails or listening to voicemails! Jake also stated that he didn't need to be present for my Court dates, but the other party had his Legal Counsel there, representing him without any problems. I had to act as my own Attorney, which was insane! I finally thought fully about continuing my Legal Issue with Ankin Law and decided to cut them loose! I sent Jake a Termination Letter via email, stating that I wasn't going to use Ankin Law anymore and then BOOM 💥 🤯...I receive my very first call from Jake, roughly 20 minutes later. He stated that he NEVER received any phone calls, voicemails, nor email correspondence from me. I didn't believe that at all. He sounded so concerning about me terminating my services with them, more than feeling concerned about my feelings. He asked, "What can I do to make it right?" It sounded like a "true relationship break-up!" I replied, "There isn't anything that can be done to make it right, especially after 2 months, 1 week and 4 days of not hearing from you!" It's funny how I received a phone call AFTER sending him that letter. People, do your research!!! Don't make the mistake that I made and go with a Law Firm that's advertised every 2 minutes on the Radio, Television and Channel 7 News. BEWARE!!!! BEWARE!!!! BEWARE!!!! P.S. Don't forget to read ALL reviews! Don't trust the company if all of the reviews are rated high and none are rated low...that means the bad reviews were deleted, well at least most!
