I’m extremely disappointed with this experience. I had a 2:00 PM appointment with Mr. Schofield, but a last-minute urgent meeting came up after recently starting a new role, and I was en route to his office, but had to stop to jump on that meeting. The website indicates office hours are M-F until 5 PM.
I spoke with Renae who has been very dismissive throughout this process, and my apology was met with little professionalism or flexibility just by a few minutes. I was only running around 30 min behind and was hoping to speak directly with Attorney Schofield as my legal matter is obviously very serious.
Renae acted like she was doing me favor. Ridiculous and highly upsetting. Not a person who should be in a law office. I need this resolved and I don’t know when I can take off again!
No regard for working professionals trying to re-build a living after being screwed over.
Owner response
Kyle, my office is very busy and when a client is unable to make an appointment, we have to reschedule. We offered to do so for you but it is best that you find other counsel. All the best to you.
I had the pleasure of working with Arthur Schofield, Esq. regarding a mutual release agreement for a sensitive housing matter. From the very beginning, Arthur demonstrated exceptional professionalism, patience, and a level-headed approach to what was an emotionally challenging situation. He was consistently clear and direct in his communication, ensuring that I fully understood the process and my options.
What impressed me the most was Arthur’s honesty and his ability to keep things realistic while still being supportive. His guidance was always measured and thoughtful, and it was clear that he had my best interests in mind every step of the way. Despite my financial constraints that ultimately led me to sign the agreement, Arthur treated my decision with respect and understanding, never making me feel pressured or dismissed.
Arthur’s office, especially Renae, was also prompt and helpful in arranging everything needed for the final stages of the agreement. They took the time to explain every detail and answer all of my questions, which made an otherwise stressful situation feel much more manageable.
In the end, Arthur went above and beyond what I could have asked for in legal counsel. His honesty, professionalism, and compassion have made a difficult process much easier. I would not hesitate to recommend Arthur Schofield to anyone in need of a skilled and dedicated attorney. Thank you, Arthur, for your unwavering support and guidance.

Selena, it was our pleasure to help a deserving client. Thank you.
Mr. Schofield and Ms. Main were absolutely phenomenal to work with. From the second I called, they were already extremely accommodating and ready to help. Mr. Schofield and Ms. Main were both extremely communicative with both of them responding to my emails and questions in a very timely manner. Furthermore, Mr. Schofield believed in my case and took action right away. Although probably not common, I was able to resolve my discrimination case with my prior employer in less than 2 weeks from when I made the first phone call and got exactly what I was asking for. I will and would recommend Mr. Schofield’s services to anyone that needs an employment attorney. Thanks again and I greatly appreciate all of your help!

Jason, thank you and it was our pleasure to help you through this transition.
I just completed a very difficult case with a top technology company that came armed with an army of lawyers. Thanks to Arthur’s efforts I walked away with a large settlement and he navigated the mediation hearing with precision and accuracy. Arthur brought a high degree of pragmatism and expertise that are amongst the best I’ve ever worked with. I would highly recommend if you have a difficult employment case to engage Arthur.

Gary, it was my pleasure to help a deserving client. Thank you.
Arthur helped resolve a disagreement over wages with my former employer. He asked questions, listened, read, gave advice on what he learned, then went to work. The final outcome was exactly what I had anticipated being a fair resolution. Highly recommended.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Arthur T. Schofield, P.A., and it was an outstanding experience. Arthur’s approach is incredibly personable, making complex legal matters straightforward and less daunting. His expertise is evident, and his commitment to his clients’ best interests really shines through. I’m truly grateful for his guidance and highly recommend his services.
I had a wonderful experience working with Arthur and his team. His seamless and efficient handling of contracts made the entire process easy and stress-free. He was impressively punctual, always delivering on time. His extensive knowledge of the market was evident throughout, providing valuable insights. I highly recommend Arthur] for anyone in need of a reliable and knowledgeable contract lawyer. A truly positive and professional experience!
Absolutely terrible. We were referred to this attorney by a family friend. Renae, whatever her title is, was talking to us like we are children and turned down our case initially without even trying to gather more information. I had to call her to give her more information. We were notifying her of how my husband was facing discrimination due to being terminated 1 week after giving his paternity leave notice, and telling her the ways he would be covered under FMLA. Then while talking FMLA, she states that his employer would need at least 15 employees to qualify. That is ADA. Not FMLA. She told him his company wouldn’t have enough employees to qualify, yet he works for a corporation all over the US that could be considered in many ways a joint or integrated employer. It is up to the ATTORNEY to help us determine that. If this was not a factor, and just the franchisee would be considered the employer, we notified her that the franchisee owns locations all over Florida. So it is very possible that the franchisee employs 50 or more employees within a 75 mile radius. Who could help us figure that out? An EMPLOYMENT lawyer that she wouldn’t even let us get to.
So possibly big case, discrimination under FMLA due to termination for requesting paternity leave, and firing due to retaliation due to lack of engagement (and the examples of retaliation we have is his employer asking him to come in for meetings for no compensation on days off (husband asked if he would receive compensation, employer told him no, we have proof of employer telling him no, he is an hourly worker) and stating that his lack of attending those was a reason for his termination)). Then Renae asked me how that was an example of discrimination. What?? It was like she wasn’t listening since I told her I was talking about retaliation. Also she then mentioned maternity leave when we were talking about paternity leave! That lady doesn’t listen and just made an 8 month pregnant woman very upset. Lost out on a good case and only called this place due to the recommendation

Ms. Kass, my assistant does her best to obtain all necessary information to ensure that we can assist clients before scheduling appointments and charging a consultation fee. Her questions to you were to determine whether we can assist. If you would like to speak with me directly, please call the office to schedule an appointment. Otherwise, I wish you and your husband all the best with these issues.
I needed Arthur Schofield’s office to negotiate a commission dispute with a former employer. Both Arthur and Renae were very efficient, communicative and did a fantastic job explaining the process and resolving the issue. If you need any type of employment representation- no need to look further, call the office and make an appointment.
