I was super anxious about my current custody case, and Attorney Brownstein was super prompt to reach back out. I was lost in a world of shock, chaos and devastation when my son was unexpectedly taken from me by his father. I had joint custody with my son's father and allowed him to take my son on a vacation. I had no idea how much that seemingly innocent decision would devastate my life and rip my son from my world. Lies were told to the court in order for his father to gain an emergency Ex-Parte against me and take my son into his physical custody. The police couldn't help me! I was absolutely lost and devastated! I had never hired an attorney before so it was shocking to discover the common price range for family court attorneys was $7,500+. Its needless to say that as a single mom of two children, I quickly lost any semblance of hope because I didn't have that type of money. However, I couldn't allow a monster to take my son from me.
