If you need to hire a lawyer and want someone who genuinely cares about her clients, someone who will keep you updated, will answer your questions quickly and ease the stress call Aubrey Barr. Aubrey has helped me on two different occasions. I sent her all the information she needed and didn’t have to worry about anything else. She kept me updated on everything that was going on and answered all of my questions. She is very prompt at returning calls and answering emails if it wasn’t an immediate response it was the same day. She handled everything in a timely manner and kept me in the loop on every step of the process. Aubrey will always go above and beyond for you, she genuinely cares about helping you in your time of need.
Aubrey is a God sent! She genuinely cares about her clients needs and has their best interest. I was so happy she helped me through my case with ease and I was not disappointed! She will work with you and for you to the best her ability! She's amazing at her job! I strongly recommend her to anyone and everyone! You wont be disappointed!
Aubrey will always be my first choice. She’s knowledgeable, confident and also realistic in all the possible outcomes. She’s passionate and takes pride in serving others. I couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you Aubrey! She’s been the best support throughout the whole process of our case.
Aubrey is a trust worthy attorney. If she can do it she will tell you but if she can’t she will tell you that before she just takes your money and says “let’s see.” My family and I have used Aubrey for a few different things and she has never been anything but ethical and caring.
Aubrey is an amazing attorney. She takes time to listen to her clients and takes to heart their every concern. It’s very rare to come across people who genuinely care for their clients as Aubrey and her staff do. Aubrey recently helped me with a legal need and instead of worrying and fretting, I handed it over to her and she worked out the best case scenario. Better than I could have asked for. I would not hesitate to trust Aubrey with my legal needs.
My last review was deleted. I’ll try again, as I do have personal experience with Mrs. Barr. She managed to get a man, who literally lost parental rights to his two children, custody of my children. She did so by being very close personal friends with the judge. She caused my 10 year old child to cry, by bullying him, in a cross examination and implying that he is a liar. Other local attorneys refer to her as a “lazy attorney” and try to avoid litigation with her due to her close ties with one of the local judges. In fact, some attorneys will even refer you to Mrs. Barr if your judge is Shannon Blatt.
You can only imagine the aftermath and the negative impact that my children have faced. I wouldn’t recommend Mrs. Barrs legal services to anybody. She relies on judicial rapport and is heavily involved in unethical practices. Family law has no place for u ethical attorneys like this. I pray that, in the future, she sticks to things more her speed and resumes a career as a public defender.
Aubreys' legal representation of children is not oriented around the safety and security of the child nor facts that have been reviewed and proven fit to proceed with during court sessions. Facts and details go unnoticed except those in which represents the biased opinion of this attorney. I believe facts should reflect the opinions of a courts decision, not political correctness. It would be the wiser to seek out of state representations when dealing with such proceedings, seeing that it is a small world and it’s not what you know but who that counts.
No, I don’t recommend this attorney.
((UPDATE))
5 years ago, I received standard visitation after fighting for full custody.
Let's break this down...
I've had plenty of time to think about this one...
**Every Other Weekend**:
- Friday 5pm to Sunday 5pm = 48 hours every other weekend.
- In a month, this typically happens twice, so: 2 x 48 hours = 96 hours.
**Every Wednesday**:
- 5pm to 9pm = 4 hours.
- In a typical month, there are about 4 Wednesdays, so: 4 x 4 hours = 16 hours.
Now, let's sum these:
96 hours (from the weekends) + 16 hours (from the Wednesdays) = 112 hours per month.
Therefore, with the provided schedule, a father would see their kids for approximately 112 hours each month.
To determine how many days the 112 hours equate to, divide the total hours by 24 (since there are 24 hours in a day, right?).
112÷24= 4.67 days...
So, 112 hours equates to approximately 4.67 days in a month.
SO EQUATING TO 4.67 DAYS A MONTH or in full summary 280.2 days to be exact for the last 5 years that I've been permitted to see my child because of this """standard visitation""" typically given to fathers.
So, to any father or mother who loves their child/children and has had to endure this kidnapping, know that you're not alone.
I assure you that each day has been remembered.
This was written to inform those who don't understand the robbery that occurs with this "standard visitation."
Take the time and do the math.
THIS IS CRUEL AND UNFAIR PUNISHMENT.
Aubrey is the only attorney I will ever use! She believed me when noone else did. She helped me get another chance at life after a criminal case. She later helped protect both my children, in seperate times and cases, from being in the care of negligent parents. Ive had Aubrey involved in 3 separate cases and had always felt that she truly cares about her clients and how she represents them. I highly recommend with stamp of approval.
Honest, responsive, dependable, and personable. My case has been closed since 2015 and a couple times since then I have had to call and have always been helped tremendously. If you are looking for a great attorney I would recommend her. I appreciated that she was always up front and honest and kept me informed. Plus her staff is awesome.
