The person I spoke with, after requiring I give her all my personal information, told me they wouldn't help me. Very shady business practice.

Hello. Every law firm is required to get your information to make sure there are no conflicts with prior or current clients before an consultation. This is standard practice or should at least be. Once the intake process is complete then we try and connect you to an attorney. I searched your name and we have no records of you calling in. If you did and we couldn't help you, it is because we did not want to just take your money and not render excellent service. We only take cases we are confident in and cases that would not result in wasting our client's time, money or energy. Thank you.
