Signed up with her firm to have a Will, Revocable Trust, and Power's of Attorney drawn up. Have met with Kelly and staff to go over the process, and yes do some homework as well. Her system of completely understanding your situation first allows her to craft the ideal trust for your situation. You get what you pay for, this isn't a document factory, so expect to pay $4000 upwards, depending on complexity. Cheaper than probate, which is 1 of the 4 reasons for a trust. Others are control of assets and distribution, reducing estate tax ($15mil.), and control of guardianship without the court deciding. You will not regret choosing this law firm for your family trust.
