Los “defensores” connected me with these lawyers, and I can say that they are the worst law firm; they wasted a year of my time and never did anything for me. The assistants are rude. Another law firm took my case, and within a matter of months, they secured 100% compensation for me.

Honestly, I don't recommend this buffet. My husband and I had a terrible experience, and I think he went through some uncomfortable moments, anger, and bad experiences overall. I think at the end of the day, it wasn't worth it to have had this case because for the small amount they gave him, he had to endure so many bad experiences. I don't think it was worth it. I see comments from people who had very good experiences, and I congratulate them. I think my husband didn't. I think he had already posted a comment about how bad his experience was, and they deleted it. Why would he please change it to something positive? He removed it because he was going to wait until the end of his case. They promised to help him better, but he still didn't post his comment expressing his discomfort. It's a shame that some people post good comments without caring that someone else might have a bad experience.

I cannot recommend Sonia Pascher at BD&J highly enough! Throughout my case, she was incredibly responsive to every single question I had and always kept me updated on what was happening. Legal matters can be stressful, but Sonia's kindness and compassion made a world of difference. She is absolutely exceptional and genuinely cares about her clients, and I think anyone would be lucky to have her on their side. I’m have had a great experience working with Angel L. from the Pre-Lit team. He has been awesome person to work with he has helped so much with my current case. Unfortunately I got into a bad accident in December of 2025, and he has been very helpful and prompt in getting what I need and deserve. He is very kind and attentive and what ever request I have he gets on top of it right away. He has great customer service. Was bummed out when they moved him from my case,but was able to get Angel to work on my case again. So very greatfull to have him back as my case assistant feel very comfortable speaking to him and he is an outstanding person. Gets my request at a promptly matter. Super glad that his helping me through this hard process.Much appreciated fo everything he does.

I was involved in a auto accident around August of last year, I was looking around for a attorney and Bd&j reached out rather quickly and got everything going and first glance everything ran smoothly doctors appointments where made and attended for months, once I settled and the other parties insurance made a pay out in nov/dec. I was told I should have my payment within 90 days . It has now been roughly 120 days and still haven’t received any payments . The communication has gone drastically down hill on their end. Trying to get a hold of Oscar olazaba and his “Supervisor” Salina Ruiz is non existent. Voicemail after voicemail nobody returns my phone calls almost feels like a scam. Any voicemail or message big or small you should return your clients attempts. I’m on the verge of making a complaint about this office. Horrible (Update) From original review BD&J has reached out and the communication has been great since then, they have pushed my case forward and have got my case completely settled. I’m grateful for the amount of people that have reached out to me especially Marisol she has been on top of everything! It’s just a shame it took a google review for everything to really move forward. All in all everything worked out.

Bad experience. My case dragged on for two years, passing through several lawyers' offices, until it finally reached Lisa's office. She was a woman with terrible customer service—rude, disrespectful, and made me feel like they were all against me. This made it clear to me that BDJ doesn't work in the client's best interest, but rather in the interest of its associates (the lawyers and doctors they refer us to). My case was valued at $50,000, and their initial offer was $7,000. I was furious and refused, ultimately settling for $15,000. They withheld $35,000 to cover fees and exorbitant bills that they refused to negotiate. (I even thought I should have brought a lawyer to those negotiation appointments with Lisa, because she seemed to be against me.) If you have a case with this office, fight for your rights and try to take it to the highest court. They will always try to keep as much money as possible, leaving you with less money and the health problems you've suffered after the accident. Very bad experience. Update; This law firm takes their business seriously, which I posted about my concern and they reached out immediately, explaining about Shelsea, the one who malrepresented us, they explained that she was fired, and they refunded us for her malpractice, and I am so glad that they did, and I will definitely recommend them. I was very happy with B D & J. These attorneys work very hard for me. I was in a very difficult slip and fall case against the city and the city did not want to pay what they should pay. Going against the city is not an easy thing. I was using a different set of Attorneys at the time.
