I never got the consult service I paid for, or communication regarding it, after several follow up emails on my end. I ended up putting several requests in for a refund (which I did eventually get). I also asked for an 1099-contractor written contract, which I was told would be quick to do, as it is their "bread and butter." The lawyer wrote up a contact for an employee (not contractor), so then he had to fix that, and it somehow totaled 4 hours of work?! I'm out $950 for a contract that should have taken 1-2 hours tops.
