I most definitely would recommend Ida Ybarra and her assistant Lisa and give them both 5 stars (if I could give 10 stars, I would). Ida and Lisa both went above and beyond to make sure my case was handled with the utmost professionalism and expertise. Ida Ybarra is a very knowledgeable attorney and definitely knows the work comp system very well. She always had my best interests in mind and I trusted every decision she made. Her assistant Lisa was awesome and made sure to communicate with me every step of the way. Not only are they both very professional, but also very nice people that truly care!
I actually sat and read this law firms whole website before I decided to call, then I filled out the request for information form. All I wrote is that I need to re-open my case, and that I don't live in Las Vegas anymore. As soon as he heard I didn't live in Las Vegas anymore, his whole voice changed. Then all of a sudden they can't help me do ANYTHING! It was so obvious, it was almost laughable. All these law firms are going for the easy cases that are going to make fast money. If you your case is too complicated, or too much work for them, compared to them having an easier case. You can forget it.
Also, whoever at your law firm is going to respond to this post, please tell them, JUST DON'T!! I'm sure they will respond with a loving message on how they are sorry they couldn't help, and heart emoji's, and whatever, but the people who read these reviews are becoming all too familiar with the responses you send to dissatisfied customers, trying to express your deepest apologies. WE call this "CROWD CONTROL." It's when someone from your firm sits and writes an apology, not for the person who is not happy with your firm, but for the potential clients reading the bad review, and you making seem like you actually care, or that it was some kind of misunderstanding that could have been avoided, or some other response trying to make it seem as if you actually care.
To the potential clients proceed with caution...
I cannot say enough positive things about Benson and Bingham Injury Law. After falling at a mall due to uneven pavement and fracturing my hip, I needed legal representation and I'm so grateful I chose this firm.
From the very beginning, their communication was outstanding. Throughout every step of the litigation process, I was kept informed and never left wondering what was happening with my case. They made me feel like a valued client, not just another number. I truly felt heard, and they advocated for me better than I could have ever imagined.
I must give special recognition to their paralegal, Heather, who was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, informative, and incredibly helpful. Whenever I had a question or concern, she got back to me immediately, which gave me such peace of mind during a stressful time.
My case resolved much more quickly than I anticipated, and for an amount that exceeded my expectations - all before I even had to give a deposition. The results they achieved for me were remarkable.
If anyone in the Las Vegas area has a personal injury case, I wholeheartedly recommend retaining Benson and Bingham Injury Law. They go above and beyond for their clients, provide stellar communication throughout the entire process, and most importantly, they get great results. I needed a law firm I could trust completely, and they delivered in every way.
Joe Benson & Ben Bingham have been our attorneys for over 2 decades for good reason. We have always had positive outcome from anything we brought to them. Our entire family has utilized their services. The staff is very professional and attentive. I have only positive things to say or share about the attorneys, the staff, and the practice as a whole. I highly recommend them.
My husband and I were in auto accident last year in August. We got rear ended and we both got injured. My husband hired Benson and Bingham law firm. They taken care of our necessary medical treatments with needed physical therapy. We finally got our settlement and I am happy with the results. Thank you Dane and Goharik, including all the staff at Benson and Bingham. I recommend this law firm if you ever get into an auto accident.

To the owner’s reply: Not sure what the confusion would be here, I was pretty clear about my honest experience. I never met or spoke with Ben Bingham because their staff did everything they could to make sure this didn’t reach the owners during the case; Issues were with other team members as I’ve mentioned and communication was poor/ongoing. Felt my time was purposely wasted (denied needed MRI while out of work for months, with a totaled vehicle, I was NOT at fault in my accident, no resources despite several requests to speak to owners), you’d think it’s a slam dunk case however I now realize handling this on my own would not only have saved me money but also peace of mind. Imagine that! My experience led me to seek/consider other attorneys, but it was too late in the case to switch. Furthermore, the contract you sign on your consultation with them forces you to comply. That should be obvious given their fees if you’re not happy. Otherwise you owe them more money from your injuries if you decide you want to have a more present lawyer handle it. Calling valid concerns “incessant demands” is rude, dismissive and unprofessional. I suggest going elsewhere.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I hired Dana P. Oswalt at Benson & Bingham Accident Injury Lawyers for a personal injury case involving serious injuries that have resulted in lifelong/permanent effects that require more than my settlement even offered. Unfortunately, the case was not handled appropriately, leaving me deeply dissatisfied and still dealing with the consequences.
Throughout the process, Dana was rarely available in the office, frequently citing better WiFi at home as the reason, which caused significant delays in responses, updates, and any meaningful support during a very difficult time.
I also encountered serious problems with the assigned case manager, Michelle Rodriguez, and attempts to escalate or speak directly to the owners/partners (Joseph Benson or Ben Bingham) went nowhere. No redirection or resolution was provided. This was especially frustrating because my family had previously referred multiple other clients to the firm, based on their perceived reputation. Nobody cared.
The firm routinely requests positive reviews from satisfied clients after they receive their settlement checks, but they never asked me. Understandably I suppose, given how upset I was with the overall handling and the inadequate attention to my ongoing, lifelong injuries.
I’m sharing this delayed review to offer a balanced perspective for potential clients, particularly those with severe or permanent injuries.
Ask detailed questions upfront about attorney availability, office presence, case manager oversight, and how they manage long-term injury cases.
While the case eventually settled, the lack of responsiveness, poor communication, and failure to properly address the full impact of my permanent injuries made an already challenging recovery much harder. I hope this helps others make a more informed decision. -Marina B.
I was in a car accident in August last year 2025 with my wife. We both suffered injuries. I hired Benson and Bingham law firm. My attorney Dane Watson and paralegal Goharik DeGregorio, they both did a awesome job. They gave top notch efforts to settle my case. Goharik did a great job to get both my wife and my needed medical treatments. My case was settled in early January and my settlement was decent and I am very satisfied. I highly recommend Benson and Bingham Law Firm. Thank you all the staffs at Benson and Binghham as well.

I’m truly thankful for everything Michelle did while handling my accident case. From beginning to end, she showed exceptional professionalism, stayed attentive to every detail, and was clearly dedicated to achieving the best results for me. She kept me updated throughout the entire process, explained things clearly, and always took the time to answer my questions. Her support made a difficult situation far less overwhelming.
