I suppose if you have the money to keep going back and forth by repeating what you wanted out of your final settlement agreement, this might be the place for you. However I didn’t, instead they went through $1500 of my retainer making phone calls to me, and redundantly going over everything we had already discussed, to say I felt taken advantage of after the first couple invoices would be an understatement.

Unfortunately during a consultation we have to rely on the representation of the client as we are not able to independently verify the status of cases. When you retained us you told us your case was about to settle and not that a contested filing had already been filed. Further, when your case moves to litigation, as yours did before we were even involved, we are required to abide by court rules which requires us to obtain lots of information from you. We used our support staff to do this in your case to keep your fees low.
