After an hour consultation with him two months ago at 6:00pm I was thrilled at the possibility of him representing me!! He was a referral from an attorney in Berkeley. Mr. B said I would receive an email and additional information where he would have to file my case. Yesterday Mr. B said I misunderstood him. That there was some miscommunication on my end. He was extremely rude and arrogant. I am a very educated woman I would not have been calling his office two months following up on my status if he and his team had communicated to me. He stated he emailed me, I informed him I never received an email. He said you did. Then put me on hold to check, but didn’t acknowledge they didn’t send it and then asked me for my email address. Very disappointing he act like we never had an hour conversation two months ago!! There was a huge miscommunication on HIS part. Who continues to call an attorney if they are not going to represent you, they told me he was busy with a case and he would get back to me……It went on and on and on. His rudeness is what was surprising to me

I contacted Arnold in 2019 regarding an incident in which I was seriously injured aboard ship. Arnold’s depth of experience, professionalism and sensitivity to the particulars of my case were second to none. He was able to answer all my questions and address my concerns through multiple phone and/or video conferences. He adeptly kept my expectations reasonable while making rational projections as to the course and possible outcomes of the case. Most importantly, he proved to be a skilled negotiator which led to a successful conclusion.
Arnold has been practicing Maritime Law for several decades and that experience resulted in crafting a solid, logical and presentable case utilizing several accomplished experts to independently verify all the pertinent aspects of the matter. He is widely respected by the professionals in his field and recognized for his pioneering legal mind.
When the pandemic struck in 2020, Arnold was able to adjust and navigate the matter to a successful conclusion despite the numerous challenges that arose due to remote work transitions, reduction of staffing, disruptions to my treatment, etc.

Prosecuting your case forward in the Federal Court in Hawai'i during the pandemic, when we could not travel to the state due to COVID-19 restrictions, presented hurdles that truly were challenging. I filled out a free consultation form on Berschler’s website, however no one from this law firm contacted me about my online inquiry nor via email or phone call. I contacted them the next day (Jan. 28th) to make sure that they had received it and the receptionist mentioned that they did and I was going to get a call back by the end of the business day from the attorney but that phone call never happened. It’s completely unprofessional to not reach back to a potential client even if you don’t want to take on the case. It’s bad enough that I am going through pain and suffering from my injury to be chasing around a business to represent me. Don’t recommend this firm.

This law firm saved me from a deep dark hole Mr Berschler and Ms Fonda.. The first call I made to Mr Berschler I was looking for a new lawyer and he was the 6th lawyer I called because no one would take my case due to it being couple years old but he took time out to meet with me for three hours. So after he heard me out he took my case and the rest is history I’m a whole man.. I’m forever grateful to this law firm. Thx Mr Berschler

I have went to a lot of lawyers I could even swear that I haven’t seen and maybe will never see a lawyer and staff as good as mr,Berschler’s office yo this guy will really make sure that you win your case and get your rights from your dumb sea companies I have a spinal injury and mr,Berschler is really supporting me and it’s still going hopefully I take them to court to settle because they treated me like a god dammed dog well shame on them I’ll see there a... at court.
