At the very start of this procedures, I was an absolute mess. Fearing the worst case scenario , not fully knowing what I was up against. I had hired three attorneys before meeting her. I interviewed many as well. Something about the meeting with Rachael made me realize that she is a beast in this profession. I hired her on the spot.
Rachael is not just after your money, making false promises, or any dishonest behavior. She went up against an attorney of whom a lot of the attorneys I have had interviewed with were intimidated by-because of his reputation. Mrs. Rachael did not break a sweat! Even in court, she kept her composure, and relayed straight facts. Above all, she gave me respect.
She gave me peace during my storm and an outcome I could have only dreamed of. I’m so glad that I trusted her with this. I didn’t understand why she moved the way that she did with me before trial, but believe me- in trial, I saw it clearly. I love how she works, she don’t play. I’m so grateful for her!
Rude. Does not make you fully aware or everything. Fine another lawyer.
Owner response
Lawyers have to give clients in criminal cases both good news and bad news. Apparently, telling this client the truth was deemed "rude." He had a total of 3 serious cases. We kept him out of jail.
We hired Rachel for a case dealing with the school board. She didn’t set our expectations well and kept losing each stage so that we had to pay more to move to the next appeal level to keep fighting. When we had meetings in her office she was kind and seemed to be on the same page as us, but in the hearings she was late, inarticulate, and hard to follow. She left out important points and included ones we hadn’t discussed and didn’t agree with. She didn’t seem comfortable speaking to an audience. She also commonly had issues with communication, like “my text didn’t go through”, “my email isn’t working”, “my staff didn’t give me the message”. It was very unprofessional. In the end, she lost our case. We understand you can’t win ‘em all, but when she realized she’d lost, she quit communicating with us and never gave us a final conversation to wrap things up. We actually had to reach out to the opposing side ourselves to find out what the outcome was. We knew the final result before she did. This was a very disappointing experience.
We had the pleasure of working with Rachel at Blume & Blume when we needed some legal consulting and services. She was referred by a friend, and she made the whole process smooth. She has exceptional knowledge in her field, and we truly felt her desire and energy to help us through some challenging scenarios. Her communication and responsiveness was top notch. With her representation we had 100% success. I would highly recommend using Rachel for any legal services!
I went to Curry Robertson for child support/child custody. He made me feel like I was a waste of his time, and a burden. He never helped me to understand, stating “that’s just how it is.” He wasn’t working in my best interest, instead working in my child’s father’s interest. He incorrectly configured child support using Alabama Rule 32, which is basic 101 that anyone can figure out, but insisted this was correct and charged me for the back and forth we did even though he was wrong. Upon finding another lawyer to support me (Mark Sterling Gober, incredible experience), he and his paralegal were immediately able to see that Mr. Robertson was incompetent on Alabama law. I left Curry’s office crying once because I was completely confused how he got the numbers on the child support, which were wrong, and he made me feel like a burden to his time and space. He stated his wife who does the child support all the time also reviewed the numbers and confirmed it was correct, so I wouldn’t go to her either. Unbelievable how horrible this experience was.
Personally, I would not refer anyone to the daughter Rachel. Seem like once the money was paid she could care less about the outcome of the case. Almost seemed like she was working against us. None of the important facts that were suppose to be presented in court were and she looked like a deer in headlights in front of the judge. After we fired her, she used her position and immediately ran to the judge and got an order signed to release herself from the case. This made it look like we didn't fire her 1st. She just took our money and ran. She also made false accusations about my wife. She didnt have a plan and didnt prepare for the case at all. Phone calls went unanswered and she was either out of the office or hiding in the office 85% of the time. We should have known better though because while sitting in their office, I noticed her name was not present on any of the awards and accolades on the wall. -1out of 5 stars if I could.
We have worked with Rachel Blume in two different situations. She was very quick to respond to my questions, and very knowledgeable. She reached out to me outside of her office hours occasionally, which I count as a pretty big deal. She was always quick to let me know if there were updates or changes in our situation. I would recommend her to anyone, and I would also work with her again.
I have not had the pleasure of meeting with attorney Rachel Blume. The only thing I can do is pray that the judge see what has been going on me and my wife has took in the mother when she was homeless and the father just so we could make sure Colton was tooking care of and we never received anything thing from them so please don't railroads us because we are not from tuscaloosa, the mother Phyllis done said she was on her side so I be back after court
