Working with Nathan Trudeau was such a smooth experience. He made my stressful situation feel simple and manageable. He kept me informed the and answered any questions I had. On top of that, he got me better outcome than I originally thought I would get. I’m super thankful for his help and thankful for this firm.
I have no idea why this law firm is so highly rated. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I spoke with “Brad Johnson” himself. He sounds burnt out and was incredibly unprofessional, condescending and offensive. I also never received a return phone call which was ensured 48 hours prior to recontacting his firm. Unfortunately, I will never get that 11 minutes back from that cringey phone call but save yourself the time and call a different law firm.
Do not, and I repeat DO NOT use this law firm!!!!! They were absolutely horrible to me the minute I sent payment. My lawyer was Nathan Trudeau. He was not responsive to my contact requests. He sent a different lawyer to stand in on one of my court dates. On the other court date that really mattered he was 15 minutes late and made the entire court, including the judge wait. He was so rude to my treatment facility. He didn’t even know the facts of my case, I doubt if he even read it. I got deferred prosecution, which a public defender could’ve gotten for me easily. If I could save anybody money and time, please please listen to what I’m saying and do not go with this law firm.
I hired Heather Freeman to represent me for a protection order case and honestly, I was weary to even hire an attorney as this situation has been ongoing for years and I’ve felt like no one heard me. Heather and the Bradley Johnson team listened and walked me through it. We were approved the order and I can finally feel some peace. They did great and I would hire them again in the future.
This is the worst, most inept lawyer I could have hired. I started with a great lawyer named Aaron who listened, believed me and his goal was to get me the best deal possible. He left the firm and I was given over to Nathan, who was the exact opposite. He barely listened to a word I said, dismissed me completely, got me the absolute worst deal imaginable (one I probably could have even argued myself!), made almost zero effort and then ghosted me! I ended up with a bench warrant for failure to appear after he didn’t inform me of the hearing and then fell off the map. I called, texted and emailed, NOTHING! No response whatsoever! At my hearing the prosecutor said she tried to reach out to him and he didn’t respond to her either. Even the judge called his behavior unacceptable! They never withdrew from my case, they just vanished!! This lawyer completely screwed me over with absolutely horrible advice and representation and then bailed. Hiring this firm is the worst mistake I could have made and I’ve been paying for it for years now.
I was in a very scary jam and Amanda got me the best possible result for my case. She helped me through my anxiety and negotiated the best possible outcome for me
One more restrain case win! Bradley Johnson and Heather Freeman brilliantly won our Restraining Order case. Heather did an outstanding job working through the documents — she sifted through a massive pile of paperwork and handled all the leg work. We had an insane amount of documents, the kind you can't imagine sorting through in such a short time! Bradley is a high-profile advocate for his clients. He uses sophisticated tools when working with both his clients and the opposing side. He's manipulative in the best professional sense — smart, emotionally sharp, and knows how to apply pressure on both sides. He masterfully uses these qualities in client work and wields every tool available in the legal system with precision. His negotiation skills are top-tier. Bradley knows how to fight for your terms and conditions and win. If your case is messy and complicated like ours was — this is the best attorney you can find in WA!
Austin A from BJL was a pleasure to work with. I was very impressed with his knowledge and skill navigating my case and ultimately winning. 10/10 would highly recommend working with Austin if you’re facing DUI charges.
((EDIT))
I retained this firm in December 2024 to defend against a fabricated restraining order. The allegations were pure fiction, yet instead of mounting a strong defense, my attorney delivered nothing but lip service. When it mattered most, he was unprepared — literally sitting in his car, coffee cup in hand, reading from a paper without even looking at the camera while addressing the court. I was left embarrassed and effectively unrepresented.
This failure cost me nearly $25,000 for something I never did. The supposed “representation” was so careless that when the attorney called me back after the disaster, the only professional response should have been an apology and a full refund.
For context: I am still in ongoing divorce litigation where my ex fabricated an elaborate story, fled the state, and tried to weaponize false accusations. None of the alleged conduct even occurred in Washington, yet this firm refused to challenge the glaring jurisdictional issues or fight back with the evidence I had.
-since first in this review, Brad reached out to me a few days ago and because of the court system didn't allow enough time to plead my case in a proper manner because my spouse steamrolled the court with paperwork with all the false allegations Brad said he would write a letter to my current attorney hearing in Arizona, basically filling them in on his professional opinion of what transpired. this would've been helpful back when we lost the case back in 2024, but it may be helpful now I will update my review to reflect the added information when it's been finished.
Austin Ansingh was an absolute knight in shining armor for me during one of the hardest times of my life. I had just been arrested for a DUI, and I was so scared about what was going to happen and the possibility of jail time. From the very first meeting, he made me feel heard and supported. He was patient, kind, and never made me feel judged.
My case ended up taking over a year to be resolved, and through it all, Austin was steady and reassuring. He always took the time to explain things clearly and never rushed me, even when I had a million questions. What stood out the most was how much he truly cared—he didn’t just treat me like another case, he treated me like a person who mattered.
In the end, he found a resolution that I am so grateful for, and I honestly don’t think it would have been possible without him. Austin is not only extremely intelligent and talented as an attorney, but he’s also compassionate and genuine, which is rare to find. I’ll always appreciate what he did for me.
