Where to start…we first met the team in Fall 2018 after 10 months of arguing with OUR OWN insurance company, Allstate, over an underinsured motorist policy claim. One would expect his/her own insurance company to treat its policyholder with respect, efficiency, and fairness. That was NOT the case with Allstate. Enter Scott, Carlene, and later, LeAnne. They were/are our legal “dream team.” It took 5 1/2 years to settle the case with Allstate - multiple attorney changes (on Allstate’s part), request for an IME by Allstate (later, Allstate changed its mind), and many, many more delays and issues. It felt as if Allstate had two goals in mind: wear us down and force us into bankruptcy. Throughout the years-long, brutal process with Allstate, our team at Brumback & Ottem guided us, advised us, and listened to our needs. Ultimately, we settled with Allstate in mediation. We can’t say enough positive things about Scott, Carlene, LeAnne, and the front office staff at Brumback & Ottem.
