Burris & Thomas and Steven R. Burris are listed as separate law firms, but they appear to be one and the same, as both show 2810 W Charleston Blvd, Ste F-58, Las Vegas, NV 89102 as their physical address. Both are owned by Steven R. Burris, as stated to me by Steven R. Burris. This might confuse people reading each entity's reviews. Despite ever-so-slightly different ratings, this/these law office does not demonstrate the professionalism and expertise expected in personal injury cases, let alone in any legal firm. In my experience, this/these law practice did not communicate well, if at all. The staff consistently failed to follow up or carry out instructions and commitments. After weeks of mixed messages and incorrect information, I learned that staff members had attributed comments to me that I did not make. Inaccurate records raise concerns about case handling and legal expertise. I noticed these issues early on and gave them a few weeks to turn things around. I even allowed for a situation with a legal assistant where she had a personal matter that I was never told about until about 4 weeks into our engagement. After 2 more weeks with nothing changing, I chose to move to a different firm. Within days after moving, I began receiving treatment from the new law firm. In nearly 6 weeks at Burris & Thomas, aka Steve R. Burris, I did not receive the required treatment or any comprehensible or lucid communications. I also found inaccurate statements from this firm regarding external communications, which reflects on the firm as a whole. I am not sure why Steven R. Burris and Burris & Thomas are listed separately, so I posted the same review for both. I would highly recommend giving considerable consideration before hiring Burris & Thomas, and/or Steven R. Burris, attorney at law.
