Procedural errors and misconduct
As someone who went through a very long and exhausting probate and who decided to do it without an attorney and no prior experience if I were still angry at the many times things didn't go my way, I'd be leaving a negative comment. Yes, there were hearings where the judge was intimidating and no support since that isn't their job, but knowing I was honest and managing with integrity the harshness pushed me to work harder and learn and it wasn't easy. The hearings where I finally got it right seemed all the better because I was held to a high standard. The clerks and examiners where always, ALWAYS on point and every step they were patient and never made a mistake or acted annoyed at my errors even though they probably should have been. All I can say is the court is not a place to make friends, it's not a place to try to win someone over or even complain. There's a lot at stake and quite honestly, theres' little reason for anyone to ever been in a court room, but if you are realize the context of the matter. Probate is serious business and the court has no idea who you are, or what went on a lifetime before they got involved. So even though you might be nicest honest most wonderful person and you feel you're being "judged" well you are and only time, consistency and following the procedure exactly as it's written, in the end you'll see a change because they know what it took and if you did it right, its an accomplishment and you made the person who's estate your representing very proud. And you'll also be telling everyone you know to create a trust or other plan so you, nor they never have to go through this process.
