I am extremely disappointed and saddened by the behavior of this company. I am a disabled military veteran who proudly served my country in the United States Air Force and one of the key things I loved about serving is our core values… “Integrity First”; the quality of being honest. Sadly, this company was not honest with me, and it is my duty to share my experience because I do not want this to happen to anyone else. I had an injury and sought legal counsel and decided to go with Camber & Associates/Injury Accident Lawyers. The main reason I decided to go with this legal agency is because they informed me, I would be able to receive medical treatment at a private Ortho doctor that they partnered with, and they would cover the cost utilizing the funds I would receive at the end of the case. A little over a month later I spoke with Alisa Bevers from CM1 team, and she informed me they were no longer representing me but insured me they would only cover the treatment cost at the private doctor they recommended up until the date (01/23/23) they informed me they were withdrawing from my file. So, I discontinued and cancelled all of the appointments with the private doctor at Ortho Sport & Spine Physicians immediately when I hung up the phone and I did not attend any further appointments with them after that call. Prior to this call I was told I had a case but during this call I was informed that they felt there was not enough evidence. At this time my concern was that I would not be left with a bill from this private doctor and Alisa Bevers assured me I would not. Today is 04/22/23 and I have received a bill in the mail for $5,455.82 from Ortho Sport & Spine Physicians for the time that I was treated. Cambre & Associates/Injury & Accident Lawyers did not take care of this bill as they stated.
