It was a pleasure to work with Mark Carey and Chris Avcollie at Carey & Associates. Since the Westport Woman’s Club needed an official Employee Handbook as soon as possible, our project was assigned to Mark’s associate, Chris Avcollie. Chris was extremely helpful and diligent in reviewing and updating the draft we provided. All conference calls were brief and focused, accompanied by written comments provided by Chris. Having worked in the legal industry and Human Resources for many years, I was very impressed with how quickly we received comments and a final version. If your looking for an employment lawyer chances are you need help. You know that you were mistreated but maybe you do don't understand the process and maybe your not aware of your rights. What I experienced is that most Attorneys want thousands of dollars up front just to get into a room with them. That's before they can even articulate any value they can bring to your case. This gave me a bad taste and I started to understand the stereo type. I thought their oath was to help the people who cannot help themselves, because we were terminated or retaliated against. That was until I met Kirsten Schneider with Carey & Associates. From the very beginning of my phone conversation with Susan M. Seyfried, one of the paralegals and office manager, I could sense something different. I immediately felt a different energy then what I had been experiencing from the days leading up to. I'm not really at liberty to discuss what services were provided but I will say they were AS PROMISED. If your in trouble and you need help I recommend Carey & Associates.
