I contacted a law firm and asked for an in-person consultation, but they wanted me to pay a large fee for a phone consultation instead. Since when do we discuss legal matters over the phone? When I requested an in-person meeting, they sent me an email referring me to the Alaska Bar. I can’t help but feel that if my name were Paul Smith, the response would have been different.

If you are looking for the best legal representation you can find, look no further then Patrick Phillips. He will smash it out of the park for you and your defendent won't even see it coming. Patrick is extremely intelligent, professional, compassionate, communicative, knowledgeable of the law and quick witted. I feel lucky I found him when I did as he is my third lawyer and I had to go through a few to find one who I felt confidently would do their job thoroughly, take my case serious and help me get the results I was looking for. Not only was Patrick and his team in contact and communicating with me the whole process, but they were also very helpful with keeping me up to date on everything and working with me (thank you Alexius!) I cannot recommend Patrick enough. He went beyond my expectations of a great lawyer and representing me in the best way. During my closing argument he went in for the kill and had my ex shaking in his boots lol. I can't say I wasnt finally thrilled to see some small justice i had been waiting years for! Only someone truly knowledeable, who cares passionately about their job and people, can methodically go over every detail of your case and find even the smallest details, and use those to your advantage and against your defendent when they are throwing out lies. After all this, I can say I am beyond ecstatic and confident that he is the reason I will be getting custody of my children back. Hire him and his team, you will not regret it! Thank you Patrick for giving me my life back.
Update: Results were even better than expected! Not only did I win my kids back but the courts finally recognized my ex for the combative narcissist he is which was extremely hard to do until Patrick helped me! I am now picking up my life with my kids and feel extremely blessed.

Ms. Alexis Howell was my lawyer. From the first phone call with Ms. Howell I could tell she cared about her clients which made me feel better about my difficult situation. Everyone at Carlson Law Group, LLC was so helpful and responsive to all my emails and phone calls. I had a very ugly divorce case that involved complicated property (stock options) and a tough custody battle. Unfortunately, Bradly Carlson seemed more interested in winning for his ego than actually protecting my interests. Mr Carlson did not actually come in late in the case and spent tremendous amounts of my money preparing 1000 pages of exhibits and deposing many witnesses most of which were not used. He advertised the cost savings in using his younger associates but then charged me for reviewing their work at his full rate. After I paid him nearly $200k and all my retirement, I lost on nearly all counts and Bradly blamed me. Towards the end he refused to even talk to me before my hearing resulting in me being completely unprepared going into a hearing with me paying Mr Carlson to attend where I got crushed by opposing counsel resulting in me paying my ex’s lawyer fees and additional child support. In the end, I felt taken advantage of by Mr Carlson who - I think just can’t help himself in his desire to be a big powerful firm - maybe like what he sees on TV. He might be great for others - but not for me. My current lawyer has gotten much better results at a fraction of the cost.
Carlson Law Group was the right law firm to hire for my case! From the start they were firm, consistent, knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy! Due to changes I ended up working with George and I feel truly honored to have had him sitting next to me during the trial and as the person in my corner!! George is personable, genuine, professional, determined, passionate, and ethical.
This case was a child custody case with some conflict and with every curveball George was top notch! From his demeanor, knowledge and experience— George not only brought me peace of mind but proved with focus and true value, you can rise!
Once again if you are in need of a law firm that cares and puts their best effort forward, choose Carlson.
