A little over a year ago we lost our daughter after surgery at UC San Diego Health. The procedure was quite unique and very few doctors perform this type of surgery. We contacted Cynthia and her team and they agreed to help us. Her skilled staff and years of experience in malpractice cases was instrumental in finding the appropriate doctors in this procedure and we were able to get some satisfaction through her guidance and support. Nothing will bring our daughter back, but the satisfaction of having the hospitals acknowledgement that they had made a mistake and the financial acknowledgement, within the limits of California State law, was some relief to us. Again, I would like to thank Cynthia, Nikki, Brian and Claudia for all their help and support.

Amy Martel was a beacon of hope for me during an exceedingly difficult time. Despite the challenges of a lengthy and complicated case, she persevered against the odds to a favorable outcome. Her in-depth knowledge, analytical, research, communication and people skills combined with her sound judgement, honesty, and high standards of practice allowed me to place total trust and confidence in her as a capable and ethical attorney. She is articulate, persuasive, and just with the opposition, while her calm and empathetic demeanor offered emotional succor to myself and those I care about. I am eternally grateful for her service and I strongly recommend Ms. Martel without reservation.
