I was referred to attorney John Curry by my best friend who went to college with him. My friend had also been in a MVA and was very happy with his outcome with John, so I decided to work with John for my own case.
From our first conversation, I could see that John gets right down to business, but is also honest and prizes integrity. This was important to me; who wants a sleazy lawyer handling their case? Not me. I felt like he really understood me, my unique lifestyle, and what’s important to me, yet was definitely a shark in his work!
My case took a longer time than expected due to my requiring some procedures over a couple of years. Although I was losing hope for a period, John was patient with me, always explained his strategies, and reassured me when I needed it. He was especially very good at explaining things in layman’s terms and making sure I always understood what was going on.
In the end, I was MORE than satisfied with how the case resolved! John and Kay (paralegal) are a formidable legal team, and I felt taken care of and well-represented in their hands! I was especially impressed with how they handled my medical bills, maximizing the amount of money I have for future care of my injuries.
So thankful to my friend for recommending John to me, and I’ll definitely recommend John to my friends and family (although I hope they’ll never need it)!
Owner response

Owner response
Mr. Diego "We're thrilled you had a 5-star experience!! It's refreshing to hear you had an amazing experience and that our team was able to assist you with everything. We wish you peace and better days ahead.
I am a current client of this firm and am sharing my personal experience.
I requested an in-person meeting on January 23, 2026, to discuss ongoing concerns regarding my case, including prolonged retention of my insurance settlement funds, lack of communication, and a fee dispute. My concern was that after the firm’s requested fee, I would not have sufficient funds remaining to complete necessary repairs to my home.
I traveled approximately two hours each way to attend the meeting. Two attorneys were present. At the outset, I was informed that a prior Google review I had posted had been seen. When I began explaining my concerns, I was interrupted multiple times whenever there was disagreement with what I was saying. I asked to be allowed to speak without interruption, as I was the one who requested the meeting, but the interruptions continued.
As the discussion continued and communication broke down, with multiple people speaking and interruptions occurring, the environment became tense. During this exchange, I was told words to the effect of, “You need to leave now or I’m calling the police.” At that time, I was seated and speaking, and I left immediately and without incident when instructed to do so.
While exiting, I was told words to the effect of, “Just remember, there is something called defamation.” I was then directed to exit using the stairs rather than the elevator.
Separately, my insurance settlement funds have remained undistributed for an extended period while my home remains unrepaired. From my perspective, communication throughout my case has been inconsistent, and the meeting concluded without allowing me to fully present the concerns I had scheduled the meeting to discuss.

Owner response
Mr. Arredondo, I know this situation is frustrating. The insurance company is required to include the mortgage company on the check, and until the mortgage company authorizes us to release the funds to you, we’re stuck. We’ve talked about this a number of times, and as I mentioned before, it’s a difficult process.

Please know we’re continually reaching out to them so we can get the money in your hands and you can get your home repaired as soon as possible.
This law firm is amazing. Awesome customer service and will definitely keep you informed on what's going on with you case. John Curry is amazing very professional and will fight for your case to the end.
Owner response
Lamaria, we appreciate your feedback! We're delighted you had a great experience with our team and appreciate your kind words about John Curry's professionalism and dedication. We appreciate the 5-star review!
I am requesting Google to remove the negative review I wrote recently, as I wrote this review on Yelp and somehow it populated to Google Maps. I have removed the review on Yelp, but since I did not write the review on Google, I have no way to remove it from Google. I had a meeting with Chritopher Ligori, and after that meeting I have changed my views about his law firm, and I realized that Christopher Ligori & Associates truly do care about their clients. I regret writing the negative review and would sincerely appreciate it if Google would remove my negative review. Thank you, Gary P
Owner response
Thank you, Gary, for sharing your thoughts and for recognizing the care that Christopher Ligori & Associates provide to their clients. Your feedback means a lot to us, and we appreciate your willingness to update your views.
I would not recommend this law firm to anyone. My wife was involved in a serious accident involving a company with a flatbed truck and trailer in which she was nearly killed. By the time she arrived at the hospital she was nearly gone due to internal bleeding and the surgeon had to cut her entire abdomen open to find out where she was bleeding from. As a result of this accident, she was in the ICU for 5 days and was no longer able to work. She also had two serious hernias as a result of being split open that required further surgery to repair. We selected Christopher Ligori to represent us against this company that had insurance coverage of three million dollars. They mishandled this case right from the beginning. After over three years trying to settle this case, our lawyer was late for the final deposition and was not there in time to properly prepare her for that final deposition. I was stunned that they never even disposed me since I was at the scene less than five minutes after the accident happened, and was the one who took all the pictures that showed the company offloading a bobcat off the trailer half in and out of the right lane and did not take any safety precautions to even put cones out to prevent an accident. Ultimately, we settled for a small fraction of the coverage the company had. What really irritated us even further was the exorbitant "costs and fees" we were charged by our lawyer. After having to settle for an extremely low settlement, we wound up with 21.4 percent of the settlement after all the "costs and fees" we were charged. This was not even enough to cover her lost wages. If you are looking for competent and fair legal representation, keep looking because you will not find it here. Gary P
Owner response
I’m truly sorry to hear that you are disappointed, and I appreciate the opportunity to clarify the facts for you and anyone reading your review.
Your wife’s case was an extremely difficult one due to significant liability issues. While I understand your frustration, the outcome we achieved was the maximum possible settlement based on the facts of the accident, and at the conclusion of the case your wife expressed that she was very pleased with the result.
Because the case resolved more than six years ago, some of the details may understandably be hard to recall. This was not a case where the defendant was 100% at fault. In fact, your wife—who was a pleasure to represent—was found to bear a substantial share of responsibility for the accident. That determination was supported by multiple sources, including her own sworn deposition testimony, an independent eyewitness, and statements made at the scene to emergency responders.
The liability issues were serious and potentially devastating to the case. To protect your wife’s interests, I retained qualified experts at significant expense. Without that work, there would not have been sufficient recovery to even cover her medical bills. Additionally, under Florida law, a client’s percentage of fault directly reduces the value of the case—something no attorney can change, regardless of effort or skill.
Regarding the allegation that I was unprepared for a deposition, that statement is simply incorrect. Neither you nor your wife were present for that deposition, so I’m not sure where that information came from. Preparation is a cornerstone of our firm’s reputation. Our attorneys are routinely asked by judges and fellow lawyers to teach and present at legal seminars precisely because of the level of preparation we bring to every case.
In this matter, I personally reviewed every page of your wife’s medical records, spent hours drafting a detailed medical chronology, analyzed all photographs, witness statements, DOT regulations, the crash report, and the defendant’s discovery responses. I also spent several hours formulating deposition questions. Any suggestion that I was unprepared is inaccurate.
As to why your deposition was not taken: because you did not witness the accident, your testimony would not have addressed liability—the central issue in the case. Damages were already well established through medical records and your wife’s testimony. Additionally, it is standard and sound legal practice not to volunteer the deposition of a friendly witness, as that testimony can be used against the injured party.
I hope this helps clarify the realities of the case and the work that went into achieving the best possible outcome under very challenging circumstances.

If you would like to discuss any remaining concerns, I welcome you to contact me directly. I am always happy to speak with former clients and their families.
3rd time using their firm. They are definitely # 1 in the city & I highly recommend.

Christopher Ligori & Associates is a great firm.
Attorney John Curry and Kay Bohn were great! They are professional and very helpful. Great team. Great firm
Owner response
Thanks for your feedback, Brian. It's refreshing to hear the level of professionalism John Curry and Kay was able to provide. The Ligori team is happy to know that you had a great outcome after the difficult time you experienced. Never hesitate to reach out & the entire firm wishes you the Best!
After being in a car accident last November and new to Florida, I was hoping to find a firm that would help make an already stressful situation easier. Unfortunately, my experience with the Ligori Firm was anything but that. I was initially told I was a “VIP client” and would receive top-tier service — but that couldn’t have been further from the truth.
Communication was a constant struggle. I found myself doing much of the legwork — reaching out to medical offices, adjusters, and other parties on my own just to get answers that my attorney should have been providing. When I did reach out for updates or clarification, I was often talked down to, dismissed, or met with vague, circular explanations instead of direct answers. Despite always being respectful, I was frequently made to feel belittled and ignored, which I can’t help but feel was influenced by my age (27) and the fact that I’m a young woman.
Once it became clear that my case would result in a smaller payout, the firm’s attentiveness disappeared almost overnight. Updates were rare unless I called to check in, and I felt completely left in the dark. It was disheartening to see the lack of follow-through and care after initially being told I would be well taken care of. I truly hope they take this feedback to heart and improve the way they communicate and support their clients — especially those navigating something as stressful as a personal injury case.
Christopher Ligori & Associates responded to my initial call on a Saturday and verbally agreed to handle my case. Attorney David M. Rosenbaum handled my case. I was kept informed, given advice and communicated with frequently. The case was settled to my complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend this firm.

Owner response

With so many options available, its hard to make the right choice, or feel like youre making the right choice in who you choose to represent you. Im glad I stuck with this firm to handle my case and was able to walk away from an unfortunate situation with a positive outlook.
There was a hiccup in the process woth my case, but when Mr. Ligori heard I had an issue, he reached out to me directly and personally addressed my concerns, while keeping me up to date with what we was doing and where he was at in the process of resolving my issue. I feel like that alone speaks volumes about the care and attention to detail he puts into his firm. It really meant a lot to me and showed heart and integrity.
I would use this firm again, and highly recommend you do as well.
Owner response
