I live in FL and needed help with some kind of quit claim deed to pass on to our son our property in CA upon our death. I called up a few family estate lawyers in CA and selected Atty. Robert Clavel to work with because he sounded professional and insightful on the phone of my situation. He explained why the revocable transfer on death deed is not the same as Life Estate Deed (Ladybird deed) in FL. My husband and I were in the midst of our travel in the Far East which complicated things yet Atty. Clavel got everything done professionally and in a timely manner.
Atty. Clavel was a godsent I couldn't thank him enough for everything he has done for me.

I have been searching for a probate attorney on behalf of my mother. We’re not familiar with the San Diego area so after a quick Google search we came across Robert Clavel and his law firm.
When I originally called it was close to end of the day. I left a voicemail. I was not expecting a call back till next day.
To my surprise, Robert called me back approximately 15-30 mins after my initial call.
Not only was he quick to respond to my inquiry, he also took time out of the end of the day to advise me for 20-25 minutes.
The advice he provided was informative and helpful. When I shared the information with my relative who had their own consultation, the information we were both told lined up.

Good lawyer. Generous with his time, communicative and even-handed in assessing probate situations. Earnest and knowledgeable. Very considerate (given that probate is rarely a happy period in life) whilst lending his expertise.
I had a great experience with Clavel Law. Robert provided a free 30 minute consultation about the details of my case, possible options to correct my issue, and information on how they could help. Unfortunately we determined I need an attorney who specializes in another field of law practice so I did not move forward, but Robert did provide suggestions as to where I might find the appropriate assistance. I would absolutely work with Clavel Law in the future.
