This is not easy for me as I prefer to write positive reviews, but I felt this had to be done! I went to Cobb Cole in Deland because they were recomended. I had been through a very rough time after a tornado hit my house a few years ago. The people that were hired to restore my home basically took the insurance money and all I got was a new roof. The restoration group I hired left me high and dry with many things to complete. My Master bathroom was demolished and left that way. What little work that was done, I paid for all the materials, even though the company was paid in insurance money. I went to Cobb Cole and explained the situation and they even said they were aware of this company as they had another client that was going through the same thing. After a year with very sparse comunication from Cobb and Cole, they finally said they talked to the man we had dealt with from the restoration company and basically, I felt like they were on his side. All of a sudden the fees that had been in the $150-$175 range were suddenly increased and they even brought in another attorney just to tell us that there was nothing we could do. We were told if someone demolishes your bathroom, they are entilted to be compensated to fix it. Since the insurance company would not agree to it, we were left without a bathroom. Three years and 1,395 dollars spent to the law firm and I still do not have a bathroom. It is very funny how they acted like they could help us, untill they took what little money we had. I am pretty sure this was not the first case like this they ever had, so why take advantage of older people like us. Why not just say the first day we went in there that they would not be able to help us. I would not recomend this law firm to anyone. I used the Deland group so I can't speak about the rest. I really thought they were kind in the beginning, now I see that they looked at us the same way the unscrupulous restoration company did. I will say that they hit us with a large bill in the end that had us looking at getting a loan to pay them off. We started paying off the bill as we could and then they hit us with 20% interest. We called to get a final pay off amount and we were told that they would use the retainer as the final pay off. I am very grateful for that act of kindness.

I have used Cobb Cole for many years for several different matters and areas of law. The entire team is professional and work in a timely manner. When dealing with estate planning, an area that I am not familiar with, no question is a ignorant one. I always feel comfortable and know that they will handle each matter in the best way possible.
