paralegal didn't want me to speak to attorney unless I get all medical records for a potential police misconduct case. She prob made the firm loose 1 million + because of it. Its the lawyers job to get medical records not mine.

We are sorry you feel this way. However, unlike traditional matters, civil rights and personal injury cases against law enforcement are very difficult to prove, and we receive dozens of calls every day for cases that need to be evaluated before we can take them on a contingency fee basis. For this reason, we require potential clients to provide details - and sometimes initial records - so that we can properly make this evaluation. We are cognizant that this can be frustrating, but it is necessary, and we simply cannot accept representation where a client refuses to provide this information or is otherwise disrespectful/rude to our staff who are just trying to their job properly in order to help us assess the case. <br><br>We wish you the best of luck. There are many other attorneys who do this work and will consider your case.
