I can’t thank Adam, Anita, and the team at CLP Law enough for their help in dealing with an extremely stressful lawsuit. I worked with Anita and Patrick they are both very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They're prompt to get matters dealt with, easy to talk to and make everything easy to understand. As a local business owner who got stuck with a legal issue, I would highly recommend CLP.
Anita and Adam worked on my case and were very effective.
Without getting into a lot of details, what impressed me the most was how well prepared and thorough they were during a discovery meeting compared to opposing counsel's lawyers. This really showed how much time they spent studying my case. They are both clever and pay attention to details, yet tough and intimidating when they need to be.

Very professional and effective. My husband and I were dealing with an unusual situation - with litigation being our last resort. Andrew was creative in his approach and we were able to resolve the issue relatively quickly. Everyone at CLP are amazing lawyers! They took on my case against my Ex when no one else would. Fighting for me after the ex signed an agreement and then him and his lawyer ghosted me. If I could rate them higher I would. They never gave up and they don't play games with narcissistic people. I would recommend this lawyer firm to everyone!!!!!!

1. Updated Will $3500 + HST
2. Put a lean on a house for non-payment for Electrical finishing $500 hr. So $10,000 retainer needed
3. Civil matter $500 hr. 15 to 20k retainer needed.
Two other firms offer a Will for $600 and $345
Paralegal to fill a form for a lean
What Do You Think? $3000 extra + HST for updating a Will?
Firm replayed back to phone message the next week, 1 star for service and customer service

Mr. DeGuerre,<br>This is Anita Landry, the Managing Partner of CLP Law. I tried calling to speak with you, but you would not answer your phone. I left you a message, but you have not returned my call. I have spoken to the paralegal that completed your intake, and I have reviewed her notes from the call. Your review contains factually false and misleading information. I am hoping this is a simple misunderstanding rather than you intentionally misleading people with this review.<br>First off, you called Friday at approximately 1:30pm. We returned your call the next business day (Monday) at approximately 3:10pm. We do not charge $3,500 for a simple Will update. No one in our office bills at $500.00/hr, nor would we require a $10,000 retainer for a minor construction lien. Your civil matter was not quoted at a 15 to 20k retainer. Depending on the circumstances, a construction lien may require registrations on title and commencing a civil action to perfect the lien in the Superior Court, which are outside the scope of practice for a paralegal. Consequently, it is not simply a “form for a lean” that a paralegal fills out. If you would like to speak further and hopefully clear up this misunderstanding, I would be happy to discuss with you.
