I was on DOT's construction site, ben white 35, stopping at 9pm for no reason, playing the red light green light game, I think about 30 years they've been working on that ben white interchange. And a Toyota tundra ran into my Ford Ranger doing 70. All highway lanes stopped except the guy behind me. Hit by a very drunk driver arrested on the scene and sent back, no papers. dang got the blue book value on my truck in a couple of weeks, handled the medical, made all the calls, and got it done in under a year. They got the maximum clam for an under-insured driver but turned out to be about 5 paychecks worth of extra. Helped me get my future medical needs from the accident that is for a month or two. They made the best of a bad situation.

My name is Lawrence Diaz, and I hired Dang Law Group PLLC on August 17, 2022. This review reflects my personal experience and my understanding of events based on the communications and documents I later received. In my specific case, I came to understand that a settlement release had been executed at a time when I believed certain property-damage issues were still being addressed. On December 11, 2024, in related correspondence after the representation ended, the firm confirmed and explained that the release had been executed (on November 16, 2022) using a Power of Attorney that was part of my engagement agreement, rather than being personally reviewed and signed by me at that time. During the representation, based on my understandings, I did not realize at the time of disbursement (November 30, 2022) that the release had already been executed or how it might relate to property-damage issues I had continued discussing with the firm. This later affected my understanding of my ability to pursue those issues. After the case concluded on November 30, 2022, I continued communicating with the firm regarding vehicle damage that I believed was still under evaluation. Based on those communications, I understood that further recovery might still be possible. At a later point in 2023, after incurring additional expenses while operating under that understanding, I learned that a release had already been executed earlier in the process. In 2023, during an in-person visit, I was provided with the first copy of the release and informed that the claims had already been resolved. At that time, I relied on all the information provided to me. While I did receive compensation for the personal injuries I had sustained and for part of my property damage, the full compensation amount for the damage to my vehicle went unresolved from my perspective. In 2024, I requested my complete case file to better understand what had occurred during the representation. After follow-up, I received documentation; however, the materials initially provided did not include a copy of the release I had specifically requested at that time. I later obtained the document by other means and reviewed it along with other materials, which led me to have additional questions about the timeline, the use of the power of attorney, and the communications that occurred during the representation. Because of these concerns, I filed a grievance with the State Bar of Texas. The grievance process concluded in February 2026 without any disciplinary action. My understanding is that this process evaluates compliance with professional rules and does not necessarily resolve or determine whether separate civil disputes may exist. For prospective clients, my takeaway is the importance of asking detailed questions about how settlement authority is handled, how and when release documents may be executed, and what steps are taken to ensure clients understand documents that resolve claims. This review is limited to my personal experience and understanding of events based on the information available to me. Others should review their own agreements and documents carefully and make decisions based on their individual circumstances.

Excellent service the whole way through! I was T boned and the driver was claiming it was my fault. Dang fought against his insurance company and got me a big settlement. I’m thankful I had Dang by my side.
