I am grateful to carry this card around, BRAIN INJURY IDENTIFICATION CARD.. especially early on after my hemorrhagic stroke a.k.a. ruptured aneurysm. It was nice to know that if I had any problems, at least I had that card on me. Luckily, I not only survived, but I’m doing very well and after losing my card, I requested another one( I like to carry it) and I received that in the mail recently! I wrote a short essay that turned into a book project and I’m happy to say that I wrote a book it’s available on Amazon! In the Cobwebs of My Mind: A Vivid and Magical Recollection of Surviving a Brain Hemorrhage! Published in 2023. I had a spontaneous ruptured brain aneurysm while riding my bicycle in 2017, In my early 50’s. Thank you De Caro & Kaplan!

I have had a TBI and over 16 concussions, the lights on the police cars cause me issues , stress causes confusion , I'm afraid of getting a dui , so i asked to receive the head injury card...I was very happy with the card I received, very well made... it arrived in reasonable time... hopefully I will never need to use it , but it helps myself relax some knowing I have it... if you know anyone that can benefit from having one please do so...thanks

Very well trained and versed in TBI issues, the Brain Injury card they provide to TBI survivors is very helpful. I keep it in front of my drivers license, I get overwhelmed and become confused easily, it has helped with someone helping me get my bearings back. I present it with my drivers license at all doctors offices to scan into my chart and ask that it appears when my records are accessed.

Mr. Kaplen took my case on after I suffered an injury on my job. Since it was a city job the case took a few years to resolve but he and his assistant keep in touch with me along the way. I was very happy with the results of my case. Also, while waiting for my case to be resolved my niece was involved in a car accident. Mr. Kaplen took on her case too with a very favorable outcome for her as well. I would highly recommended this law firm.
