Started off with a low ball couple thousand settlement with the promise of all medical bills being paid. After a year the insurance company started ignoring my requests to pay medical bills. Some law firms I contacted said I didn't have a case due to a voice recording settlement. Blake at De Santis law firm took the case on a contingency basis and had not only re-opened the settlement, but managed to increase my take home 17 fold, multiple tens of thousands! He secured an MRI (which my PCP wouldn't order) which turned to out to be instrumental in moving the case forward. I took the MRI to an orthopedist for an evaluation which illuminated injuries sustained from the MVA. He also negotiated many of the medical bills down substantially, thereby increasing the amount of take home pay. He did all this for relatively low lawyer fee percentage as well (low end of the usual 33% to 40% range.)
