Got a DUI in Pinellas County for marijuana from a young Clearwater cop out to make his DUI quota! Don Simon was recommended to me by another excellent attorney I know well in Hillsborough County who couldn't help me in Pinellas County. I know why now why he recommended Don, Don is an excellent DUI defense attorney in Pinellas County knowing and negotiating with all the States Attorneys very well! Don always answers every one of my phone calls, texts and emails, and gives great advice along the way. Worth every penny and achieved my reduced charge down to a wreckless driving, way less points, and quick probation period to freedom! Don I hope I never have to hire you again! Haha!
If you live in the Pinellas area and have a problem with a charge of DWI, traffic or criminal offense I highly recommend calling Don. He offers a free consultation and will give you a range of possible outcomes. Working with him he will strive to get you the best possible outcome. He knows the system and the prosecutors and will develop a strategy for your particular situation. We had 3 cases to enlist Don. First a DWI that resulted in plea down to careless driving. Then with a charge of assaulting a police officer (a felony) he had several conversations with the prosecutor that resulted in the charges being dropped! The third case involved a hit & run charge of leaving the scene of an accident with damage. He successfully convinced the prosecutor to accept an infraction with a small fine and no points. These outcomes would not be possible without a skillful attorney. Don has certainly demonstrated he is among the best.

In my years of experience I have never encountered someone as rude as Mr. Simon. I stopped by his firm to drop goodies and business cards from two well known medical doctors and he didn’t even let me finish. Didn’t even look at my face, turned around saying “I’m not interested” when he didn’t even know what it was about and completely ignored me. Not even a cordial conversation. He might be a good attorney but lacks courtesy and respect towards those who are not there to benefit from him service.

Don is an incredible attorney and an incredible person. He has helped me through multiple cases with awesome results. I have recommended him to family and friends, both whom he got through some really tough cases without any convictions. He went above and beyond for me and dealt with things that were well outside of his job description. He is the best criminal defense lawyer you are going to find and he actually cares about the people who he represents. He is only the lawyer I've ever seen who would tell me not to bother spending my money. If he doesn't think that a layer will get you what you want, he will tell you. If he thinks that there is another attorney better suited for a certain job, he will tell you. I would never hire anyone else (unless he recommended it).
