This negative review is unwarranted. According to Ms. Charshafian, I charged her $300 per hour to tell her what most attorneys will “tell you for free.” I am not aware of any attorneys in Northern Nevada providing free legal advice for the matters Ms. Charshafian and I discussed. Also, assuming such attorneys exist, it is unclear to me why Ms. Charshafian did not visit such an attorney rather than retaining me. When she contacted our office, Ms. Charshafian was advised that I charge $300 per hour and that I would require a payment of $300 in advance. Prior to our consultation, I spent 1.3 hours reviewing numerous documents provided by Ms. Charshafian. I then spent another 2.6 hours meeting with Ms. Charshafian to gather additional information and provide her advice and drafting a letter to her recapping our discussion and my conclusions and advice. Despite spending a total of 3.9 hours on Ms. Charshafian’s matters, elements of which were novel and complicated, I agreed to charge her a flat fee of just $300.
