I retained David Stern as my attorney approximately one year ago, and he is currently listed as my attorney of record. Unfortunately, I have been unable to get a response from Mr. Stern or his assistant/wife, Helen, for the past ten months despite multiple attempts to follow up. During the time we worked together, I experienced several issues related to communication and scheduling. On multiple occasions, I was required to wait for extended periods despite having scheduled appointments, including one instance where I waited for over an hour after being asked to arrive, and Mr. Stern did not come to the office as expected. We did complete a deposition with Monroe County, and I promptly provided all requested release forms. However, following that deposition, I have not received any further updates or correspondence regarding my case. While Mr. Stern demonstrated strong legal skills during the deposition, the lack of consistent communication and follow-through has made it difficult to proceed effectively. At this time, I am in the process of seeking new counsel to ensure my matter is handled in a timely and responsive manner.
