He gave me my money back, 600. He is 100% truthful about the NYS Unemployment Insurance cases.

My wife and I paid in full for 2 cases cash. He then got suspended and never refunded our money or helped with the cases. Almost $6,000 gone and we still have to figure out what to do about our financial loss because of him.

This lawyer needs to be Disbarred. Horrible. He was late for court, and left out a Crucial part of an order to show cause, for a rental situation.

Aaron has been suspended from practicing law, this happened in the middle of my BF custody and divorce case and Aaron never communicated to my BF that he was suspended. We heard it through gossip within his ex's family. He has been suspended for over 30 days by the time we found out and my BF had court in less than 3 weeks. Once Aaron was confronted he sent a letter notifying my BF of the suspension. He did nothing for his case in 9 months he was retained, he would have my BF come in to the office but never sent the information to the court or other atty that they went over in the meeting but still charged my BF for countless and pointless meetings. This blew through the $7500 retainer and is still sending invoices that my BF owes more. He also never sent an invoice or bill for MONTHS. He only sent a bill once the retainer was gone. He has filed a grievance against Aaron and I suggest everyone else does too.

This man took my money and did nothing for my case he only sent me invoices everytime I had money coming my way he also charged me for Trial I never attended! he then said I wanted a deposition without talking to me about it first he also took my taxes after he was paid up and had my ex husband sign the release to the taxes the day of our divorce This man did nothing for my kids and I made me believe things that never happened he was never prepared for court or on time don’t waste your time or money on this guy nothing about him or his firm is professional!! everyone always remember everyone has someone to answer to and I ran to the committee on him and I will be taking this man to small claims court to get my money back! This man as of right now can not practice law as of today and for everyone else that he screwed over should also take him to small claims court we should come together and make sure this man can not hurt anymore families You’re better off representing yourself

Awful “attorney” - gives inaccurate and misleading advice to clients, and per the number of other reviews listed, appears to take retainers and fees from clients and then runs away. You’d likely be much better representing yourself and saving your hard-earned money versus handing this guy your money and still losing your case. I don’t know how many people it takes to complain to the judiciary committee for action to be taken, but I foresee an investigation in the near future. We have many well-versed, competent attorneys in Rochester who would be happy to help you. Stay away from this one!

DO NOT give this man any money. My father in law passed away November 2021. He was a Vietnam Decorated Veteran with three tours, and a Silver Star recipient. He had my father in laws estate for a year and a half. He is also holding on to a $20,000 check written to my deceased father in law. He claimed he would use it for the fees. Once the check was no longer valid, we had to come up with $5,000. Just to get this dam paperwork to probate. He never filed and stole our money. Now my father in laws house is in forclosure. So much more to tell. Advice for those taken from him. Contact the Rochester Bar Association.

I met Aaron briefly outside of the courtroom and I ended up running into him again in the court room, my attorney wasn’t available that day and he stepped in and ensured everything was taken care of! Great lawyer, even better guy!

Bad news. Very disappointed. Deceiving practice. He took the money and did do a thing. Does not return calls and when asked for a meeting he didn’t show up. I will report him to the BAR association

HORRIBLE LAWYER. He took over $2,000 from my parents and ignored their case and calls. Scheduled a meeting and never showed up for it. Essentially took their money and did nothing. Doesn’t care about his clients and doesn’t know anything about the law. YIKES

This guy is a sorry excuse for a lawyer. My parents handed him an open and shut case and he did nothing but take their money and dodge their calls. Horrible person and attorney. DO NOT HIRE HIM !!!!!

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. This man took my money and ran. He didn’t do anything for my case. He took my money and then ignored my calls for over a year. He missed meetings that he set up. If you feel like setting money on fire and losing thousands of dollars, hire Mr. Gavenda and his team!!!!
