Very disappointed. Had a friend recommend him but he didn't even meet with me before court like he said he would. He wasn't prepared and my children and I are traumatized by what happened in the court room. My momma heart hurts that justice wasn't served and I was left in the dark about what is to happen next. 💔

I love all that works their. Very helpful and caring. I don't know what I would have done without their help.

Never had to hire a lawyer before so I really didn't know what to expect. This was a divorce/child custody case. I felt left in the dark most times, had to call him for reasurance & felt more like an inconvenience tbh. I have mixed feelings on Emerson. Seemed like a good man but not very informative. He did work with me on payment though & sent me an email apologizing for any mishaps. Thought that was kind of him. Anyways.....things went well in the end though I think it could have been better if things weren't rushed cause he didn't get to it until last min.

Personally I love Scott, he’s been an amazing lawyer the entire time I’ve dealt with him. I feel others probably don’t like him because they were on the other side of his heat. That’s the only time I’ve heard bad things about him but anyone who I’ve know that’s been represented by him (including myself) has loved him. He gets the job done and gets it done right. He’s funny and very well knowledgeable! I couldn’t have picked anyone better. He might take a little bit to respond to a call or email (Always keep in mind, you’re not his only client) but when it comes to the court room he’s getting business taken care of the right way.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Still have a simple open and shut case open with him it's been two years!! When I told him I hired him bc of his good reviews he literally told me he has his secretary write good ones for him everyday I thought he was joking until he got the money in hand.

I would not recommend Scott Emerson to anyone! In 2009 I retained him to represent me in a custody case regarding my incompacitated mother. After being billed over $6000 he came up with a document naming my sister and I co-guardian which was thrown out of court in 2018 because it is illegal in Arkansas for two people to be guardian unless they are husband and wife. Now I understand why two people who disagree should not have equal power. Over the years this has caused issues and a split in my family that is beyond being repaired. Scott Emerson did not remember my case when I went to speak to him about this and ask for my money back and called the police to have me removed from his office. I would run the other way!!!
