This is the worst lawyer. If I could give zero stars, I would. To start off, my family and I paid $50,000 for Curtis Fallgatter to represent my boyfriend. He made it seem like he was going to handle the case, but after receiving the payment, it was another lawyer named Lisa representing my boyfriend’s case. Curtis states that she is his partner. Although we did not expect Lisa to take over the case, I can honestly say that I am thankful that she did instead of Curtis. If you are looking for a lawyer to represent you, make sure that they are willing to fight for your rights. One of the most concerning things about Curtis is that his approach is to pressure his clients to snitch or cooperate with authorities in exchange for leniency. A lawyer's responsibility is to advocate for their clients and provide them with the best legal defense without compromising their rights. Curtis Fallgatter is a prime example of a lawyer who is more interested in making money than actually representing his clients. Curtis charged extra fees for forfeiture, which was supposed to be part of defending the case. Throughout the entire case, Curtis Fallgatter could not be reached, and Lisa was the only one handling things. Ironically, when the case was over, he had a lot to say, especially about the forfeiture case because we were being charged an additional fee. It became apparent that Fallgatter only talked when money was involved, which is troubling behavior for a lawyer. Additionally, my boyfriend did not receive the sentencing we were hoping for due to Curtis’s lack of effort and dedication to the case. With over 20 years of experience and his appearance on the Dr. Phil show, he seemed like a great lawyer. However, our experience with him proved otherwise. He was often rude and unprofessional, and instead of actively working on my boyfriend's case, all he did was simply tell him to cooperate with the authorities without offering any further assistance. If you are reading this, please thoroughly research and consider all options before hiring a lawyer like Curtis Fallgatter, who may not have their clients' best interests at heart , unless you are willing to give away tons of money for free. Our experience with Curtis has left us feeling disappointed and angry. Despite receiving a LOT of money, he did absolutely NOTHING to help my boyfriend's case!!!!!!!

The best out there! Mr. Curtis Fallgatter and Associates are by far the most professional and diligent people. In my years of working for or knowing Attorney's, I have not seen an Attorney work so hard and be so dedicated to what he does like Mr. Fallgatter. My minor son was adjudicated as a adult under the 10 20 life law. Lisa Varon and the team was a blessing. She was able to get the 10 20 life off the table, and my son will be home in 5 yrs!!!!!! I hired this law firm to represent my husband. Upon hiring them I thought we were paying to be represented by Mr. Fallgatter but instead got Lisa. We paid a flat fee of $25,000 upfront and the representation was not worth that amount. We felt like Lisa did the bare minimum and didn’t really fight to get my husband the best deal possible but instead wanted him to settle. My husband’s case dragged out for over a year and there was no change in the amount of years that the state was offering, every motion that was put in by Lisa was denied. So after a year and there was no progress we felt like Lisa was burnt out with the case and decided to fire them and seek new counsel from a different city. But Before we made the decision to fire them I emailed Mr. Fallgatter asking if Lisa was doing everything possible or has she dropped the ball somewhere and his response was she’s doing everything right then went on to explain why things were going the way they were. His explanation made sense but not enough sense to keep them on the case. We made the decision to hired a law firm based in Miami and within a month’s time the case was resolved and we got the plea deal that we had been asking for from the beginning with Fallgatter. If you ask me my honest opinion I feel like the lawyers in Duval work hand and hand with the state. A Miami lawyer should’ve came in that swiftly and resolved my husband’s case and got the same exact deal that we had been asking for from the beginning. Lisa did a piss poor job and I highly don’t recommend unless you just have money to give away.

Recommend 10/10 The whole team treats you like family & makes sure you’re satisfied with the outcome. If you’re not willing to put in the work as well, don’t waste Mr. Fallgatter’s time! He did a case for me & got it thrown out in less than 2-3 weeks after hiring him. We’re forever grateful for his service, consistency & dedication to his client/family Watts family
